The Eagle Dynamics Aircraft Company has assembled the body of the JAS-32 Imperator that they intend to present at the Strike Aircraft Trials in Rattenheim. They are currently preparing to attach the wings, though Reladyne is late for the delivery of engines. From what can be seen in the image, there is intent to carry 4 GBU-2000 Rätte units on the fuselage, beneath the intakes. Past that, we don't know much more about the design, other than what can be gathered in the photo. However, from the looks of it, it is incorporating the Dominion AR/LRDWU-99 AESA radar.

UPDATE

The Eagle Dynamics Aircraft Company have completed their Technology Demonstrator for the event. From the looks of it, they have remade the nose of the aircraft and added what looks to be the R-63A Missile, however, the missile looks different to a degree. The TD retains it's GBU-2000s, less visible in the image but still there. There are likely a set of pylons beneath the fuselage. Eagle Dynamics are demonstrating the aircraft using a very lackluster cockpit system, due to time constraints not allowing them to sink the correct cockpit inside. However, assuming they manage to have it adopted, they will likely have a cockpit sunk into the aircraft.

UPDATE

An accident has occurred during the presentation for the JAS-32. During a long post-stall maneuver, the pilot lost control of the aircraft and was forced to eject. However, the seat failed to disconnect fully, and the pilot was shot forward into the "dash" of the aircraft. The aircraft hit the ground without exploding, though fires were burning within the fuselage (primarily in the fuel lines) and the fuselage had broken apart in the air. CBRN units moved in not very long after the aircraft touched down, however the pilot sadly passed away. Despite this incident, Exeron has moved forward with caution on the JAS-32 project, with Secretary General Skeletá citing "the JAS-32 is the only one that really fulfills the role we're trying to fill, we will have them perform extensive tests and upgrades before adopting it fully, as there is plausible evidence showing that this could've been an issue caused by error from the ground crew, or an issue with the cockpit conversion that was hastily done for this event." We do it currently know the identity of the pilot, as the Crisis Response Teams are awaiting contact with the family of the pilot. We here at ENN will keep you updated.
