The others already said the gist of it but I want to further reinforce it: upvotes (and the points that come with them) don't matter, they are not correlated with the quality of a build or the builder's skill. A literal block can get dozens if not hundreds of upvotes, while a masterfully crafted plane with every small detail meticulously placed can max out at 5. So I suggest you shouldn't care too much about upvotes or points, just keep building and sharing your creations if you enjoy it. If you ask me, just 10 comments praising one's build is worth far more than even a 100 upvotes.
it happens, story as old as time, the time + skill against upvote count is roughly correlated, but this said, its pretty common that insane builds flop, if the build isnt a big name build like an F35 or smth, or if the build isnt the craziest looking, or if you arent the best known builder, you might not get all the credit you deserve.
Happened to me a lot when I was starting out, I made some good planes but didn’t get recognition, also knowing people helps, like I wouldn’t be plat right now if I didn’t get connections early on
You've a new guy. People tends to upvote things from well known creators, even if it's bad. And then there is what gemsbro said.
Plus, your creations are not exactly "game breaking". I am not saying they are bad, but they are not exactly great either. Take your time with builds, try to enjoy the process and improve your skills. You got to start somewhere. Success will follow.
You'll be surprised to know how much users will upvote and cause a war for a single block posted just for the shits and giggles.
