Graingy Survey: What parts do you never use?

50.8k Graingy  one year ago

Hello!
In this edition of Graingy Survey(TM I will stab you) we at Graingy want to know:
What parts in SimplePlanes do you never use?
Blocks are basically obsolete, and so are most of the engines in the face of Overload, I’d reckon. Weapons can persist, arguably.
Any parts you never find yourself pulling out?

    @overlord5453 I know how target locks work.
    I mean I wasn't aware it carried over to flight computers, which don't have their own camera. You can be in orbit view and still get a lock with a normal cockpit.

    @Graingy it does. You have to keep the target inside the lock circle. It's a bit tricky but you can modifie the lock angle on missiles with maxLockAngle and set it to a number in degrees. Setting it to 360 will enable the missile to lock target even if you are pointing away from target.

    @Boeing727200F Glass fuselage?
    Triangle cockpit blocks are useless lol.
    *Concept.
    A refresh every so often can be good, though. How long have you played?
    Magnets can be useful, but only in specific cases. Very finicky, though. VERY finicky.

    @Rb2h Why them? Why not one of the other nozzles?

    @Solent19 funny enough I have made plenty of 'weapon spam" builds like you mentioned. all of them are fun to play with.

    the glass fuselage parts. I don't recall using them ever once. most of the rotators, any plane I use already has them built into them (yeah I really just modify the same planes over and over again). the triangle cockpit blocks, never used them before. I sometimes use blocks to make proof of consept aircraft or whenever I mod my older builds. I use all the engines. I use every single kind of weapon. I don't recall using the magnets, nor most of the special blocks.
