I think they're awesome, it's just sad that they're not common to see here, most people for some reason thinks that lifted american trucks are cool, and i don't get it, plus, people who thinks that giant polluting lifted american trucks are cooler have small PP's, it's not just me who thinks that way right?
@DatTrainGuy19 tbh I agree i like muscle cars that don’t have any modifications but hoonicorn is an exception in my opinion
@F1Fan8910 yes steam.
Steam wagons
@32 i don't know why but, im the type of person that likes these simple, cheap, and very basic car, i honestly find the design of those cars to be appealing, and hey, those older road cars cars didn't have stupid gimmicks like "4x4 capabilites", "big entertainment screens", and just other junk that made it heavier for no reason whatsoever, plus, it's not like it matters if those old road cars have "more features" or whatever since... well... you could mod the car to have those features yourself (from experience with my next door neighbors and watching youtube videos anyways, and plus, the only pickups you're going to find in indonesia anyways is mitsubishi, daihatsu, or suzuki pickup truck/vans, yes, there's 2 variations of the same car, and hey, they're simple, reliable, and also easily fixable since there's not much fancy electronics and junk unlike modern ford and gm pickups that for some reason had big screens and some other unnecessary junk that made it a nightmare for the owners to fix, yes, we fix stuff by ourselves, if we had the experience anyways.)
@DatTrainGuy19 typically, if a car is made to get from point A to point B, it will not look good. If it is made to do something else, it will look fast, or off-roady or something. I’m not 100% sure if I agree with you that small cheap cars from the 80s-2000s have more character than modern large ones, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt since like you said, we do live in different countries where the culture surrounding cars is very different.
@ToeTips Yeah I’ve never really liked Teslas, they really just look like smooth little lumps of body panels, and honestly they are nice, but I definitely wouldn’t be caught dead driving one.
@32 there's a reason as to why old 80's, 90's, and early 2000's "crapboxes" have more charm than most modern soulless electric crossovers and giant suv's.
@32
Oh your definitely not gonna love Teslas lol. And yeah, nothing really notable about them, just metal boxes that hurt the environment a little less when moving.
@ToeTips yeah, I mean they aren’t huge but based on my trip to Europe they are larger than most over there. Definitely bigger than anything in the Kei Car market. I don’t like them, I think they don’t have a soul, but it is a good size demonstration.
@DatTrainGuy19
Hear me out...
Lifted Kei truck...
@32
"Like a Toyota Prius" lol.
@MrSilverWolf very nice. Theres honestly not a lot of them here, mostly just square bodys and the hideous lifted trucks. One guy at my work tho has a lifted square body c10 straight piped and think a foot or more lift kit, pretty sweet but has it on 15s with a fat sidewall, looks a little dumb but sounds good
I used to have a Kei truck when I was 16 but like I'm too tall now and its wheel literally hits my thighs when I am driving.... They're quite cute and really fuel efficient, but I'm sticking with my civic now
I love this train
@MrSilverWolf
you owned a taco???? 🤯🤯🤯🤯
@PapaKernels I have a third gen one, 2019, the off road one, absolutely love it, one of my best purchases
@MrSilverWolf
Knock knock
“This is the police. We’re hoping to ask if you’re free for coffee next Sunday?”
Credible answer: pickup trucks should be specially licensed vehicle only used when necessary or otherwise genuinely the best fit for a job.
Non-credible answer: Doesn’t matter, all get crushed beneath the tracks of the 80-tonne Full Battle Tank we imported from an alien planet.
@DatTrainGuy19 oh, Fucc SUVs then
@MrSilverWolf ooo, you got a Tacoma? You mind if i ask what year? Ive been looking into getting a first or second gen, but i got a 97 chevy 1500 so thats good enough for now.
I can say living in a small american town, there are a lot of lifted hideous trucks, but a lot of my friends want a kei truck, those things are so sick, and would be pretty good for me when i started up my own workshop. The lifted trucks that are cool in my opinion are the ones that are useful for actual offroading, not the ones with shoestring tires on 30in rims, it looks so stupid 😂
@XtarsTheExdarichGuy33106 technically, it's classified as an MPV
They're pretty Based and orange pilled
Kei trucks have a similar bed size as NA trucks. They’re pretty cool
who cares about emission laws 😎
Kei type vehicles look legit cute imo
But I'm sticking with regular sized cars.
(non-american pov)
I like kei cars, unfortunately there is literally no reason to get one in most places outside of japan because you can get a normal compact car/truck for about the same price
if you live in the usa you can also blame the corruption- uhh, lobbying
