It show what were you old names so it's a kind of archive
And if you change your name people wont have much problems figuring out who you are

Im fine with it. Moreso I think that names of banned/deleted users should be freed up (I want more of the alphabet)

@ToeTips In that case, i think they should show only 1 previous name that's been kept for up to a month before change

What bothers me is how it repeats usernames, so like mine says:

So I have Strucker in that list 4 times.

Honestly, Im Completely Fine With The "Previously Known As:" Feature.

Its there so that people can know who you were before the name change, to minimize confusion.

Sometimes it is also quite embarrassing to see your old username still displayed on your profile

I guess so...
