Verdun la Victorieuse, of the Champs de Verdun class of nuclear-powered guided missile battleships.


Currently, the planned armament is as follows:

Main Battery:

12x Mle. 2019 431mm L/65 EMBAL in three four-gun turrets.

Secondary Battery:

14x M880E2 Block 2 128mm/70 Doppelfläk Dual-Purpose Advanced Autoloading Gun System

3x M1100 203mm/60 Major Caliber Lightweight Advanced Gun System

1x M1000 203mm/60 Major Caliber Lightweight Advanced Gun System

Tertiary Battery:

M75 Maritime Short/Medium-Range Air Defense (ShoMRAD), TAC-5N missiles (Developed from MIM-400 Terminator Air Defense System). 8-cell Rotary VLS modules

A quantity of CIWS, most likely an AK-630-M2 derivative fitted with two 30mm rotary cannons in a compact and low-RCS housing.


Propulsion of the vessel will be an Integrated Electric - Combined Nuclear and Steam (IE-CONAS) system.

I'm thinking something as such for the specifications of power output:
Verdun la Victorieuse's propulsion consists of an Integrated Electric Combined Nuclear and Steam (IE-CONAS) system, which grants it greater available power as well as a temporarily sustainable speed boost. The system consists of the 1250MW PWR reactor, oil-fired steam boilers, and steam generators which provide power for the 69,050kW motors that drive the enormous 6.5-meter screws. Two retractable 20,250kW cycloidal bow thrusters and two retractable 20,250kW cycloidal stern thrusters are present to aid with maneuverability.

I may try to model the cycloidal thrusters, even if they are non-functional, but I make no guarantees as for such.
