The IA Image Importer is a simple software that lives up to its name: it imports images into SimplePlanes.

Key for the components:
1: Select Image - Allows user to select the image they'd like to import
2: Width & Height - Modifying these lets the user determine the exact resolution they would like to make their image (Note: large resolutions become very memory intensive, so the max width you can make your image is 200, this limitation may be modified in the future depending on how users feel about it)
3: Auto Height - When enabled (Green), height will automatically be calculated based on width and the aspect ratio of your image. When disabled (Red), height will be able to be manually modified by the user
4: Preview Image: Displays the image with the same resolution it will have in game
5: Dimensions: Shows the final x and y dimensions of your image
6: Root: The program will autodetect your SimplePlanes file location, if it isn't found, you will be prompted to manually select the file directory
7: Name Your Design: Name the design. Cannot contain the following characters: \ / : * ? < > |
8: Import Image: Click to see the magic happen! Simply open the search in game and search for the name you set and it will be there

- This program uses Python, so if you do not have Python installed you can get it here
- Please refrain from posting images on their own to prevent the website being filled with nothing but pictures :)

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using another program to create your image like Photopea, make sure you check "don't use palettes" while exporting your png if it gives you the option. For example:
NEW: IA Image2Text let's you run the program on PC and paste into a label on any device. This is useful if you have a PC but you have SimplePlanes on a different device (for example on phone or mac).
does it already have mobile version? i dont have a computer and its too expensive for me to buy it..

@LUPIN I believe that this would be what you want to use. I haven't used this person's image importer but I believe you just have to copy the output into the part label.
What kind of app you recommend for android?
This is the earliest version of the software, I'm not sure what python version it works with. If it doesn't work, you may want to just update your python @MAHADI
can you pls share a link of the old version that could run on Python 3.8 or earlier?

@Darkmoon I threw this together for you. It creates a text file with the label text in it, just copy it and bring it to your phone and paste into a label. Make sure you make the label big enough to fit all of the image text. Let me know if there are any bugs!
@Brololxd Unfortunately, it doesn't look like an android version will be made in the foreseeable future.
@Darkmoon All the image data is inside the label part, so I might make an alternate program that gives you the label data that you can just copy paste into your SimplePlanes label. I'll lyk if I release this 👍
@IzzyIA Is there a way to get the image code without having to import it into the game? I have the program on my computer, but I have the game on android.

@IzzyIA I enjoyed using it except when I accidentally put it to 1000 because when I clicked settings my Laptop/PC just froze lol
@LogoAndCars1 Oh yeah windows doesn't like .exe files because if they are malicious they can cause damage but IA Image Importer is safe and just runs some python scripts. Hope you enjoy!

@brentisaac22 Can't promise that it ever will, but if you have a buddy with SimplePlanes on their PC you can ask them to do it for you
