As I state in the title, my game keeps constantly crashing and / or freezing (forcing a restart). The crashes occur seemingly randomly, sometimes within 30 seconds of starting the game and other times only after 15 minutes.
It doesn’t matter which plane I use, if I am in the designer or not; there seems to be no cause for the freeze.
Even with ALL mods turned off, the game still crashes.
Even a fresh install and the game still crashes.
I have almost 800 hours in Simple planes, I’ve never experienced problems like this before (or really any crashes for that matter).
If I had to guess, it seems that the problem started since I updated Windows earlier today, but this is nothing more than a hunch.
There is no mention of the game crashing in the output log file.
Can somebody please help me?

just as an extra clarification, the game often just freezes. Sound does continue for a little while, but then the entire game crashes about a minute later anyway.
I just left the game running in the designer, with absolutely nothing going on in the background. When I came back the game was frozen.
I have a Ryzen 2700 CPU, 32Gb of 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM and my GPU is a GTX 1070 Ti.
memtest86 shows there is no issues with my RAM.
New PSU makes no difference.

I have a similar problem with my game that, without warning, just shows up an error message with a loading bar, that when said bar fills, the game closes.
This mostly happens in the Designer, however. I don't have any memory of it happening outside the designer.

@InfamousRedSkull @Embo Guys... I highly doubt it is a virus; the update I downloaded came directly from Microsoft, as it was just a regular windows update. Besides, all other programmes work flawlessly.
Just to check anyway, I ran some scans. All of which turned up nothing. :)
Do you have the upload with screenshots mod downloaded?
Have you tried the ooga booga spell?
Which mods do you have installed?
Happened to me before. Manually delete your mods folder entirely.
Rip. Only other thing I would guess is that that was a fake update, and you got a virus. But that’s probably unlikely @Walvis
@Embo But of course, sir. I'm a poor student so I slave some of my free time away working for an ISP as techsupport, I am fammiliar with the magic spell 'try turning it on and off'. :)
