Multiple pieces of glass with no seam?

1,223 Theengineerist  3.6 years ago

Hello!

Recently I uploaded a updated version of one of my cars with glass and I had trouble making the passenger and driver side windows look decent because I had to use multiple glass pieces to get the right look. Unfortunately this resulted in the windows having a few seams where the pieces come together. I’m wondering if there’s anyway to fix or avoid this?

Here’s the upload I’m talking about (for reference)

Thanks!

@jamesPLANESii one more question, I guess there’s no section to remove top/bottom in overload?

@tsampoy yeah they’re connected but were placed separately, I’ll have to double check if they are connected to each other. Thanks for the tip! Cheers

@jamesPLANESii thanks! I actually just discovered overload right before I uploaded. I’ll have to try it out, might take a bit to get used to!

If you connect the pieces front to back, the front and back faces disappear.
You can also use Overload to edit the front and back faces so they disappear.
