It's a Sondergerät SG104 "Münchhausen" 355mm (!!) recoilless rifle.
(Literally: Special Device 104 "Münchhausen", named after Baron Münchhausen)

Well, not exactly larg"er", because this would be LARGEST. (if the SG104 ever made it into the air, it would be the largest firearm ever mounted to an aircraft)
In fact, this "rifle" exceeds the maximum bomb load for a normal Ju 288C by about 1.2 ton, and thus a lot of things would have to be removed (most notably, gunners and flexible gun mounts, it would probably hurt its fuel capacity too)
This is what the cockpit looks like now. I tried to make it like the original Ju 88, but had to make some adjustments (Why does Ju 88 appears to have THREE compasses? what's the point of this?)
A lot of things would be added, mostly levers and co-pilot stuff.

I think the Ju.88 got 3 compasses because it was designed to be piloted by a single pilot in case the crew was wounded/dead. So maybe there was 1 for the pilot, 1 emergency compass (still pilot) and 1 for the copilot ?
