I remember having this issue, I think I removed one side and mirrored it back. Probably won't help regardless, but I can't think of any other idea.
I can build a tank but not anything remotely funky trees related. Sadly this challenge has many issues that should be fixed, and it so continues the everliving cycle of don't look at challenges with images that aren't screenshots of actual effort.
