That kind of strictness is unimaginable for most people from the west. And tbh, Sweden's situation is just as bad as other European countries that implemented "lockdowns". Therefore, my conclusion is that you're actually right, "lockdowns" don't necessarily work well, unless you do it the Chinese or North Korean way.
