Therefore, my conclusion is that you're actually right, "lockdowns" don't necessarily work well, unless you do it the Chinese or North Korean way.

Here's one correction though, China gets it controlled quickly because of unprecedented scale of lockdown, even local neighborhoods, for two months total. That's what you got when you have a powerful central government, but it could never and shouldn't happen in America. I am here on a college campus in Texas and it's really not a threat
