  • Remaster Challenge [CLOSED] 3.3 years ago

hello mate, I've already posted a rebuild of one of my old planes to make it up to date with the 1.11. I posted it not so long ago at all and I was wondering if it could enter the challenge ? (if I make it a sucessor of your challenge) The challenge is trully intersting and my build for the same number of parts in both versions is completly something new thanks to the update.
    would love to compet here.

you do deserve it, great builder has to have a lot of points. that's how it was """""supposed""""" to work.

@JoJoSans1 I just don't answer to a comment that doesn't concern the plane at all, moreover you didn't at least say "could you please tell me the name of the map ?", you just said "where map", be polit next time, even your last answer is meh.

  • Why Under 20 Part Builts Are Important - my thoughts 3.4 years ago

@WinsWings oh don't worry I really do understand what you said, and it's cool that it can help you. Part efficiency is the true hard part in simpleplanes, and learning it like you do it by making low parts build is very great !

  • Why Under 20 Part Builts Are Important - my thoughts 3.4 years ago

@Dathcha also you need skills to makie good looking builds with so many parts lol

  • Why Under 20 Part Builts Are Important - my thoughts 3.4 years ago

@Dathcha well ok, make a plane with 1000. Because no it isn't easy at all to make a good replica, and having a low part count when you want to make something that looks good, flys good, have a good looking interior and a lot of functionalities. Using a lot of parts to make detail and matching with a blueprint doesn't mean it will be easy. But you are right on one point, there's one really difficult thing to learn, and it is part efficiency, as the guy that wrote this forum does. Trying to do the best with a limited part count, he's limit is 20 but ofr exemple mine is always around 1000, so I have to make details but by using my brain, if you look up at my builds, there a lot of parts, but they are used with brain cells. A good builder don't make low parts builds, but builds with good part efficiency.

  • Some Advice to beginners. 3.4 years ago

your a beginner tho, not that it is a bad thing. But before giving advices try to get a little better with building and have a better understanding of how the SimplePlanes website works.

  • F-5 - I added the engine 3.4 years ago

this is stupid, why would you put so much detail on something you don't even see when your fuselage isn't even that luch detailed or very good looking ? put parts where it is important to put parts, not on something we don't even see

@WojakArgento sure, use everything you want in it. just put VTOL up and each time the gauge change it's direction try to put the stick in it looking straight forward and go in its direction and you will land somewhere

  • Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H-1 3.5 years ago

@asteroidbook345 it was for the pilot, the chart is here so that if the pilot know the plane un front of him, he can set up his gunsight correctly, the numbers next the planes are their wingspan

  • jettison wing and fuselage storage 3.6 years ago

@asteroidbook345 problem with them is that the fuel time doesn't affect the smoke effect, the only thing doing it is the flight time which when it comes to zero explode, and I can't change the explosion scale on rockets
