@JetFlyJosef Thanks a lot :D , well yea it even took me a lot of time just to figure how to land properly with it XD

    +1

@AntiLosAeronautics yes you have to reduce speed while already being low to the ground but i think 170 should be fine to land just be careful with the brakes

  • realistic crash physics mirage 3B 4 days ago

@YourAverageMV400AWACS oh yes i forgot to mention for ai and autopilots i recommand you to reduce thrust power of the engine(s) with overload to prevent mid air break up because ai s fly planes very harshly

@KingVonKilla thanks :D , i d ont know if i will upgrade this plane further but for sure im working on other models using the same physics mechanics

  • new crash physics system m50 9 days ago

@KingVonKilla hi, i assume you also had problems with landing the plane if so , read the pinned comment , it tells some tips on how to use the plane without damaging it , if it doesnt help or if you have further questions or remarks let me know , thanks for your feedback :D

@Halcyon215 here are some tips for landing it without breaking (i know landing with it can be a little tough) but i recommand you to land at around 150 speed and when you touchdown use the brakes carefully by doing little brakes check but d ont immediatly hold the brakes too roughly or its gonna bounce and damage the plane also ignore the wing shake its normal and wont damage the plane unless it crashes , and also when you go at high speed , aggressive maneouvers can damage or destroy the plane and also d ont stay too long on full throttle , when you see that the airframes reaches its limit it c ant keep exessive speed too long and the plane is gonna disintegrate, but it is possible to land and takeoff with it without damaging it i managed to do it (after some training XD) hope these tips helped , let me know if you have further questions or remarks, thanks for your feedback :D

@Liamrblackwell yes it will fall if you retract it and you fly above 250 speed due to the spring not supporting the mass of the wheel when its in the opposite direction of flight but it has flaws that i havent managed to fix for exemple if you land it loses balance and the front wheels ends up falling because it needs something to block the spring or it breaks by itself but this physics model is now outdated i made improved ones that have better handling , physics and less flaws you can check them on my account i made a new one today btw if you want to try it , thanks for your feedback tho!! i will now change the title of all the planes on my account that have outdated physics.

@Gubby hi , sorry for the late response i wasnt very active for the past days, actually this model has a lot of flaws such as hard maneuvrability and bouncy physics, and is outdated , i made new ones with better physics than handle way better and also crash more realisticaly but it is normal if you experience mid air desintegration with my airplanes i built them specifically for physics(especially destruction ones that are mostly abscent in most airplane games) also im making a new crash system that will be better than all the previous ones , thanks for trying my crash system and thanks for the comments it helps a lot improve my systems :D

Hi , during these last times ive tried to make a soft body physics aircraft in the game and i finished it yesterday : here it is : https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/0gMS5u/soft-body-physicsrealistic-crash-hispano-ha-300-under-fuselage-intake-config

note that its hard to control as it is my first try i havent developped the best techniques yet but it can takeoff and land without necessary breaking apart , also i recommand to switch to camera 1 for better view.

@JetFlyJosef hi, well yea i was surprised the part counter doesnt counts the parts that are not attached to the flight computer but its because for this type of physics to work properly , the main cocpit( in this case i used a flight computer) c ant be attached to the plane or else the prescripted crash physics in the flight computer completly ruins it by making the whole thing explode directly , but as i c ant power the engines without the flight computer but i c ant make a direct connexion with the plane i had to only attach it to the engine and make it hold to the aircraft artificially , if you look at the rear of the aircraft you will see a box of modified fuel pannels (i used fuel pannels because it has good collision hitbox) well this box was made just to hold the flight computer and as the flight computer was too small and falls off the box due to bad hitbox i had to attach the flight computer to a cube (i also used another fuel tank for that to power the engine and hold it at the same time) and the cube connected to the flight computer wich is connected to the engine is being held in this box so in recap the flight computer is only connected to a fuel tank and the engine so thats why it says 3 parts only
