About the repainting part ... There is a tag called repainted and the description of it says that the tag should be used for a successor that only has been repainted.
And I often check if, when I see bad landing gear placement, it is something that creator often does. I happened to notice a trend of rear landing gears all the way back on your fighters. ;)
The reason for my "hate against improper gear placement" is that sometimes a plane is good throughout (like this plane for example) and then it can't take off. (On this one it doesn't matter tremendously) That pisses me off. I guess I can call myself a landing gear nazi. xD
@Rohan I don't want to be a pain in the butt, but I wanted to show that to you the first time, and I found it now so I thought I would share it with you. :)
@Authros Talking about gear. (They have very springy suspension) This is a great trainer for single (and double) engine failure scenarios with twins. Just dip one propeller in the ground on takeoff and the rest is up to the skill of the pilot. ;)
Tips: Use RCNs so you can control the aircraft when it is in vertical mode. Secondly, place the VTOL nozzles on the sides of the aircraft so that they point backwards when dragging the VTOL slider forward.
@Amy Oh, fuel. I used modded fuel tanks, you can download one here. (If you know how to xml mod you can do it yourself. Just take two fuel tanks and go into the xml file. Edit the fuel capacity and fuel in the tanks; one with the amount you want and one with negative that amount. [Negative fuel won't subtract from your fuel, just your weight])
Very cool plane! But, why? Why? Why did you put the rear landing gear so far back? It doubles the take off speed (with all moving elevators turned on) and makes the landings more awkward. (And it is kind of ugly too) I really love this plane, the way it should have been!
Very low drag indeed!
Nice :D
@Nickasaurus I wish they also could be round when they were big though ...

@A5mod3us xD
Very twin, such tandem ;D
@Nickasaurus I love fuselage blocks!
@DeezDucks I landed it on the tiny, then I took off right of the edge!
@Nickasaurus Thanks :D
@AndrewGarrison We need a Nano tag now! xD
@KevinMurphy @RocketLL You guys have to build faster planes to beat this ;)
@WalrusAircraft Why don't you give nanoplanes a shot? ;)
@Rohan @bobthetitan Lol!
Impressive! We really need better parts for airliners, though. It would be awesome if the next update focused on parts specialized for airliners!
@Rohan Of course I am ;D
Ridiculously short takeoff! xD
Tip: Check this guide to learn how to place your landing gear better. :)
It got featured in an episode ;D

This guide visualizes how you should place your landing gear and why that is the proper way. :)
Awesome!!
Tip: Take a look at this guide for landing gear placement.
Tips:
1. Mirror your aircraft so that it is symmetrical.
2. Take a look at this infographic on how to place your landing gear.
Tips: Use RCNs so you can control the aircraft when it is in vertical mode. Secondly, place the VTOL nozzles on the sides of the aircraft so that they point backwards when dragging the VTOL slider forward.

Awesome! This didn't land on the tiny though ;D
Hey! 0 downloads :D
@BehrmanTheBeerman Thank you :D
Awesome! I made a successor, it is somewhat tweaked but most importantly, it has loads of fuel.
Lands and takes off from the tiny too :D
There's still no multi-touch gestures on the pc version though :(
Landing was definitely what I enjoyed the most with this plane!
Cool colour scheme!
Did you use my thrust vectoring system? ;D

What was your name before the change?
Maybe snow, now when it is winter and all. (Even though there is no snow here)
I would have put the bombs on the middle fuselage instead to make space for the gear
@Amy Fill?
Great! :D

Cool autogyro! If you want more ideas for autogyro building you could check out my planes or PlanesAndThings's
@Kimo Well, it's actually getting some help from the front wings, but most of the lift is from the rotors.
@PlanesAndThings Cool!
