Jelly or his "cronies," I guess I'd call them, by no means have gone away, but by now, they know the rules, or have been banned (for the most part). So, you're just reinvigorating something that's faded away. If you see a "j-plane" just report it or give them a link to the YTer rules. You're no better than them with this kind of post, IMO.
@Beastly technically, the afternoon doesn't count, as in formal representations, that would be 21:26:53, where as the morning time would be (0)9:26:53 depending on if it's 24h or military time.
@AeroEngineering can you imagine? Driving down the interstate, passing the border into Indiana, and the sign says welcome to Indiana where π equals 3.2
@DogOfWisdom @SUPERSAMROCK don't forget about the failed American metric conversion of the 1970s...my parents have got plenty of stories about those years in school.
Technically, today's date is a better estimate than last year's. Think about it:
π: 3.14159265....
today: 3.1416.
However, on 3.14.15 at 9:26:53 is as close as we'll get for a long while: 3.141592653.
Back in 1897, Indiana was GOING TO PASS INTO LAW that within the state lines, π=3.2. Fortunately, some scientist was at the senate hearing and protested enough that they voted against it. I weep for the past/future.
@Exumer no, you don't. There's some portal where you put in your Gumroad email address and they give you a steam key. You'll have to ask the devs for more specific info, sorry.
It's been a few weeks since this has been an issue. It's resolved. No need to re-aggrivate people.
Side note: people will probably listen to what you have to say if you don't use txtspk.
The idea behind the post was just along the lines of "include more specifics in what type of stuff you want to build. i.e., WWII, futuristic, jet, prop, experimental, etc."
Ranks aren't important. Just be friendly and make planes that you like because you want to or think they are cool. Do it for no one else. You're not a factory, you're an artist!
There is a feature in 1.3 called self destruct. By default, it's set to the D key. Check that under controls and see if that isn't the issue. If it doesn't fix it, upload the plane and tag me on it. I'll take a look.
In addition to what these fine fellows said, it's actually against site rules. Don't do it again.
Also don't worry about points. Make planes you like, and let the upvotes be secondary.
Fact: they don't matter.
Fact: building good planes will lead to points. Plenty of them.
Fact: fishing for points will probably get people to have a strong distaste for you.
@TehJetMan yeah, it's not per calendar day. If you look at your "my airplanes" page and there are 5 that say anything from "0 seconds ago" to "23 hours ago" you won't be able to upload. This confused me for a while too :)

Impressive; both the time and getting exactly 4,000.

Lol @MrMecha beat me by 2 sec.
@bjac0 yep!
FYI links don't work in plane descriptions...nor does any other formatting thing.
Anyways, here's that link: Daboooogieman
hey, include us physicists in there! π shows up more than you might think.
+1@bjac0
me: deletes a plane with 2 upvotes
@Flightsonic I will make that...looks really cool!

I can nudge it for ya. Just upload it and tag me.
@Thetank2 ...this isn't the place to tell them that.

Not a chance.
@Thetank2 this was a fair suggestion. After all, posting "jelly planes" is against the site rules.
Very nice!

@Delta glad to help
@LAZERETCHED haha yeah...
@LAZERETCHED oh boy. I'm not up to that. You should try, I'm sure it'd be popular!
LOL not anymore, 6 now
It's pretty much just ~250MB HDD and 2GB RAM and a basic video/graphics chip

Too troo.
@SimpleName11 haha iOS is way worse. No nudge. I do love iOS as s phone OS though.
@SimpleName11 true. I do use iOS now and again.
@SimpleName11 actually, it doesn't, in my experiences.

LOL
You do have one thing at least partway right: paint matters.

@ACMECo1940 oh, that's not gonna be easy.
It's worse when you have exactly 1,000 or exactly 5,000. The new colors roll in at 1,001, 5,001, and 25,001. Sooooooo...
That's my effort at a thumbs-up lol

Hehe! I won a match! First time winning lol
As much as I'd like to see 1 and 2, I don't think they'll happen because there's too much room for abuse, and they would be much harder to moderate.
@amazingperson124 me 3
@ACMECo1940 so no copying the pieces? Just these 10 pieces?
Fuselages can't be rotated to 45º without XML editing. I'm no expert on it, ask someone else for more details.
Most jets have both COMs and COLs close to the rear.
Pretty cool!
Sounds cool!
Just 10 pieces, or will we be able to make duplicates of the pieces?
