@Glazeer don't use square blocks - go for the fuselage blocks, make sure the center of lift (blue) is behind the center of mass (red) (this is the most important rule for a controllable plane). to control a plane you need at least pitch, yaw (if you have dihedral) or roll and thrust (to gain altitude).
download some planes and take them apart. stay away from xml modding and other modding, this is the next step (its too complicated for me - i enjoy the simple planes the way they are now, less tools, more creativity :))
@Giggitymerf haha thanks. it should fly without the guns as well. does it say something about missing parts? (because the rocket motor is from a mod and idk if you need the mod to have those parts?)
i gave it a try, should fly more stable now. try to move the center of mass a bit in front of center of lift. (press spacebar in creator to see the CoM, CoL and Center of Thrust)
@danishhaziq I think it already flies better than a submarine should fly doesn't it?

@TehDuck the VTOL engines and their air inlets are all the time above water, as long as there the fuel and the VTOL nozzles are connected to the cockpit it works. the engines can draw their fuel from anywhere and do not have to be connected directly to the nozzles. i dont know why it works, i just figured out that it does :)

@BritishNarwhal yes. thats why i upgraded my submarine, now it can easily sink the destroyers (they don't shoot under water) :DD
@DimondKing123 i think it is possible that your planes has to be armed with A-A weapons for the AI to appear.

@danishhaziq yes it can, was not the idea, thats why it doesnt control too well in air. its better on or under water ;)
