@CRJ900Pilot wtf
.
i had lag on my phone until i disabled the lead indicator
.
could it be the FT? but i haven't touched any of those so i couldn't tell
curves are pretty cancer to make
.
my suggestion is to use thinner guide tabs and wires so you can make more precise shapes and use thin panels so it's easier when paneling edges
@TrislandianAlliance rip
.
have you tried other apps? I think you can also make flags with adobe illustrator or something
.
btw this is my flag. I prefer 4:3 ratio as it's more compact lol
@GINGER01 thanks!
.
I used tamiya panel liner black for the wash and mr hobby enamel thinner, clear coat using tamiya X-22 clear with XF-86 flat clear to seal all the weatherings. Maybe the thinner is not the problem but rather my method of cleaning the wash layer that made the thinner ate through all the paint layer. . Gotta try it again when i get my hands on X-20 enamel thinner. I heard UMP makes great paint and thinner but I haven't tried them out yet.
.
While the pencil technique looks great you gotta be careful when applying it since the graphite can and will stick to your hands super easy and leave fingerprints that are hard to erase, but I think using gloves can solve that problem
@GINGER01 that is actually very well detailed, even got the service hatches and stuff. Are you using paint wash? I really like the engine cowling, so dirty
.
here is my 1/32 Tamiya F-4J. I was originally using wash paint over the fuselage after 2 coats of clear gloss and applied enamel thinner. I think because of the thinner i used is different brand, (or i used cotton buds instead of large cloth) the thinner ate through the wash layer and the clear coats all the way to bare plastic! So in the end i oped to use pencil instead. Soft pencil like 2B when rubbed to the fuselage along the windstream makes for a nice looking grime epecially at the underside where i want the effect the most

@TrislandianAlliance i was listening to music when it happened
.
i thought it was the bass since i was listening to those 2009 rave music but it was way more intense than the music itself so i kinda paused the music for a sec and then i heared the boom again lol
@jamesPLANESii lmao I was wondering how long I could make the title and I think that's the limit since after that the website shows error and I couldn't save the edit
how would you rate ww2 era warplanes? I've only assembled a B-26 Liberator and it was a total failure (I assembled it when I was like 10 lol) but I saw many scale model youtubers assemble them and it looked quite nice.
@GINGER01 hey that's neat, I will try to find the sherman kit you assemble. Too bad my dad assembled all the tank models and he left me with only aircraft and ship models lol
.
I have some Revell kits but most are for Marklins so it's incopatible with 1/35 builds
.
I assembled Academy kits when I first joined model building and the parts have nice fit. I've been eyeing for their 1/35 Viper but I can't afford it for now lol
@GINGER01 nice
.
never really made a tank other than a 1/35 Tamiya M2 half track years ago, but i finished the Tamiya 1/32 F-4J a couple of months ago and a Hasegawa 1/48 Kawasaki T-4 laying around unfinished atm
.
what i feel is once you made a 1/32 model you kinda can't go back to smaller scale lol. Everything is big and detailed and stuff (atleast for out of box kits), and generally easier to do weathering
compressor pressure and nozzle size doesn't really matter except when you want to make super fine lines/ weathering then a .1mm nozzle can be more convenient to work than a .3mm nozzle
.
what will you do alot when airbrushing is thinning the paint and cleaning the airbrush after using it
Your brush is still too wet when drybrushing. You need to wipe it more with paper towel
.
the suspension is nice and dirty but the tracks looks too clean for me
.
you can add more dirt to the tracks and make the crews dirtier as well
@MrSilverWolf what do you mean the manufacturer isn't supposed to give training to the pilot? How the hell does the pilot even figure out how to fly the plane then?
.
they were given a new plane with different flight characteristics and when they asked for training they were given like what, an hour of ipad lesson. They were supposed to fly it like how they normally fly when it's a different aircraft with different system in it.
.
MCAS was supposed to mimic the flight characteristics of the NG variant but it clearly failed because 2 planes crashed because of it and you're saying it's not Boeing's fault because oh, an Asian low cost airline and a random African airline was flying them when it crashed.
why though

try disabling the lead indicator
.
it probably caused by the game trying to calculate the lead angle

@Plane66373637 that wouldn't work
i forgot who (i think it's the one who made the calculator)'s cousin deleted his account but a bug in the site saved his account lol
@brians1209 can you send unlisted and tag me
.
i can't open the link
@brians1209 oh
.
you mentioned it's an FGR2 so i didnt know
nani
@brians1209 then you'd better off making an F-4E instead
.
or the Kurnass/Terminator
@brians1209 easiest way is to outline the camo with circular blocks then repaint the panels inside
@Frenchman when I finish it
