i think the red sun on the mid-tail could've used a bit of fuselage-form-fitting but i mean other than that, its a fun build, definitely loved dogfighting with this
from what i saw, it was a joke post, nothing really even offensive, someone just took ru's car and put an AIO cooling block on her car, credit for the car was given in the desc and successor/predecessor system, ru took it as an attack, got the post taken down, then took her own car down.
@Plane66373637 @SanitaterAirlines i also have autism, that part of the description isn't so much of a joke as something i witness irl in a summer camp for autistic kids, changed it up a bit so it made more sense.
@WIZARD2017 yeah, thats the only down-side to using damperMultiplier, but i'm pretty sure adjusting the rotator speed to compensate should work, but I'm glad to hear it works better now!
@AndrewGarrison do speed modded rotators get me disqualified, i'm using speed modded rotators for some control surfaces on my plane, i ran it through the in-game race qualifications for prop races and it passed but just to make sure could i get disqualified? Definitely don't want to be banned from future tournaments for a mistake.
@MRMDAWURM in the rules it says no weapons, also a good way to test if your plane works for the AI is to put it in the "Race Against Opponents" sandbox mode
i was gonna spotlight this but you just passed me lmao

@Chancey21 its derived from a joke, often used at someone's expense. And its cheap, boiling a eulogy down to a single letter is disrespectful as you're giving the impression that their life wasn't worth much more than a single letter to you. At least that's the way i see it.
@Mattangi2 ye, cause also i didn't do the lights, i might actually make a full version and upload separately, imma get fuckin intricate on the screen tho (might even make it walk if i feel like it)
we can also finally do fly-by-wire and crafts that fly with COL in front of COM
but yeah we def need some new tags to accommodate the new possible part types.
@CrashFighter05
Just to clarify, I didn't say child content creators weren't liable, rather they could possibley become partially pardoned in the future due to potential court rulings. With minors getting fines they may never be able to pay off. However this is just speculation. Although I now realize I forgot to mention the "Minor Content Creators" sect is largely speculation, otherwise they follow the same as described in "Adult Content Creators" - will update!
@PositivePlanes apologies for the late reply
.
The warning of 17+ content is a more recent thing, caused by COPPA's initiating case against YouTube - essentially a stepping stone to their overall plan.
.
You're right about this point, kids often circumnavigate the age restrictions, I agree their way of enforcing it is pretty lacklustre and could use some serious updating and fixing, however, COPPA sees this not as the child or YouTube's fault, but as the content creator's fault for making a community where in the same session, you can go from family friendly content, to soft-core "fun videos" as ill call it. I also agree COPPA's way of enforcing the rule through the content creators rather than reinforcing the age restriction or other is pretty incomplete and poorly thought out.
.
Just to clarify, they are not going after adult content, they are going after child friendly content as to create a distinction between the soon to be more adult-teen oriented YouTube and the already child friendly YouTube Kids.
.
Hope this clears those subjects up, if you need me to clarify further, feel free to @ me and I'll try to respond a bit quicker.
from my experience, if you don't know what to build, take a break or you'll burn yourself out, however if you must build, i'd go with BuiltBionixInd10's idea of building mechs, they can really fun to build but also technically challenging
achieving 59 seconds consistently(without airbrakes this time)
@SingularMuon looks like airbrakes aren't allowed in the tournaments so like, even vanilla airbrakes could get you disqualified
@Mustangflyer it was more a way to increase speed rather than push a craft but here
i think the red sun on the mid-tail could've used a bit of fuselage-form-fitting but i mean other than that, its a fun build, definitely loved dogfighting with this
+1ay, copying is against the site rules
+1still funny thinking we almost ran into each other at the springbanks airshow

+1damn, i'm surprised this has no upvotes.
Low part count with good details
Well-tuned gyro stabilized cannon
Ragdoll Antenna
And movable parts
@Plane66373637 @SanitaterAirlines i also have autism, that part of the description isn't so much of a joke as something i witness irl in a summer camp for autistic kids, changed it up a bit so it made more sense.
using this in fast forward is an existential experience
+1@WIZARD2017 probably excessive mass, try reducing the mass of the object that's being rotated
@WIZARD2017 yeah, thats the only down-side to using damperMultiplier, but i'm pretty sure adjusting the rotator speed to compensate should work, but I'm glad to hear it works better now!
if that doesn't work, set it higher
set damperMultiplier on the rotator to something high like 99999
@WaffleCakes jesus thats 4% of my entire life
+3@jamesPLANESii i'm also 3x less talented lmao
+1@Chancey21 damn, is that consistent?
@Baldovino hopefully in the future they can introduce "pure" tournaments or something of that sort
+2ucano
t
@DeezDucks i strongly agree
@AndrewGarrison do speed modded rotators get me disqualified, i'm using speed modded rotators for some control surfaces on my plane, i ran it through the in-game race qualifications for prop races and it passed but just to make sure could i get disqualified? @Chancey21 ~ 24 days from now
+1@jamesPLANESii or do what spefy does and use modded wheels
+1@SuperSanic wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy
+1getting 51 seconds, occasionally 50
@MRMDAWURM in the rules it says no weapons, also a good way to test if your plane works for the AI is to put it in the "Race Against Opponents" sandbox mode
achieved 56 seconds consistently using some uh, unconventional techniques
+3Patrice will be back

needs an aerodynamic motherboard
ah yes, trusty gagabytes graphic card

ctrl+c is automatically bound to activating ortho view, the input can be found in Settings > Controls > Designer, bottom of subsection "designer"

@mikoyanster try using OBS, almost all professionals use it and its free (and it hides your cursor when recording a fullscreen application)
+1sidenote: you could merge all the flak cannons into one coordinate so they're effectively 1 cannon.

@CrashFighter05 I'll correct my mistake then, also could you point out the parts of the forum that you think are untrue, feedback is much appreciated
also a side-note, I'm pretty sure youtube's age restriction pass will eventually need more info than before, such as valid id, etc.
@PositivePlanes apologies for the late reply
