Yeah it took a while, but I finally got the fucker to fly. This is modeled after insect flight rather than avian flight; basically instead of making the wings fold they rotate.
You know how control surfaces work? Well insect flight is basically that; they flap their wings AND rotate them, creating a moving control surface. This pushes air in a given direction depending on the direction they want to go. I’m going to work on an avian model soon, but it’ll take a lot longer.
