@winswings @BRAZUCA Hey Win,look at Brazuca's rear landing gear, watch how they fold up. He used 2 sets of "rear landing gear" and stuck them together on each side ! . It's freaking genius.
@IceCraftGaming Ice I remember you now, you're in high school and you're considering going into aeronautics. Sorry I forgot about our conversation my friend it's early here too. Ps I just spotlighted Ace Avenger A
@IceCraftGaming I'm sorry Ice, I think I already knew you were from the Philippines. It's the same time here, it's early. Thanks for the upvote, I'd ask you to spotlight me but I should be spotlighting your planes.Lol
@RaddieB I love this plane in every variation you have made. The only thing I changed in the version I saved for myself had to do with the aircraft's ability to turn. When I moved the yoke to the right or left then pulled back to make the aircraft bank and turn, it would not turn very well. Here is how I fixed this. I reshaped the control surface by extending the control surface 1 click wider towards the fuselage, Then 2 clicks (long ?) towards the front of the aircraft. Now it turns beautiful . That fact that you got no upvote on this plane is criminal. It's a wonderful aircraft. Z
@WinsWings @CarrotSlicingCat @IceCraftGaming this, I have been working on for a while. Check out the hide away dual radars by flipping the "Radar" switch above the artificial horizon on the pilot side. Also instead of searching for buttons, just press 2,3,4 before you throttle up. Also IceCraftGaming,I noticed I did not have you in my friend list on my bio page. (Sorry about that.. :(. ) I just added you.....
@guyfolk @BlackjackEagle @DARZAVIATIONOFICIAL please try the "Radar" switch above the artificial horizon on the pilots side. Also just activate 2,3,4 BEFORE you throttle up. I'm really proud of the hideaway radar screens. I hope you guys like them. If it is worth a spotlight, that would be very kind of you.
This reminds me of the movie Dr Strangelove "Where the hell is Major Kong ? ! ? " ..... " Yeeeah-Hooooooo,. Yeeeeaaah Hoooooo,. Yeah Whoooooo , Yip yip yip ! , Yeah Hooooo ". Search YouTube for Dr Strangelove Bomb drop scene. It's less than 30 second scene but after you see it,you will come back here and give BeastHunter an upvote. Good stuff ! ! ! @winswings @guyfolk @proctor
@EasternPatrick Good point ! If I were to use each peice of fuselage where I added a window and stack just them together with no "every other peice" fuselage, they would be the EXACT same size, fit together perfectly, and whatever crease or imperfection from the window would continue down the antire aircraft like a design feature. Very smart @easternpatrick. @winswings
Did you see my post ? Does it make sense? On the outside use "circle or round" on the inside use "square" this will fill in the gaps. See my example. This was taught to me be @winswings
@winswings did our discussion help ? Again, use the main picture as your guide and use manual attachment to do your 2 attachments. First, drag the whole thing into you sub assemblies. Next, drag out of subassemblies but don't let it touch your aircraft. (If you do it could attach itself in the wrong place) First, open attachments then move your curser over the end of the spring at the far end of the unit. Add attachment to your aircraft. Second, (as indicated in my picture) put your curser over the little round peice of fuselage with the smaller round object in the center (the rotator) In the picture this is the YELLOW part. Before you make any connections, you should ONLY see under connections is "small rotator" . Connect the OUTER round part to Any part of you aircraft and you are done. ( 2 connections, spring and round piece of fuselage with rotator in the center) that's it.
@MDDJB thank you for the upvote, I hope you take the time to fly it and check out what those interceptors do. When it appears they miss, they'll turn around and they'll continue to chase their target until they hit. It's kind of funny...... You can also shoot aircraft with the auto aim Cannon but be careful not to shoot your own wings off... lol Thanks again MDDJB ...... Z
@GuyFolk Wow GuyFolk ! I started reading just the first few pages of "Funky Tree" programming. I have a bunch to learn. But, I think it will be fun. Thanks for the resource. Z
@WinsWings is this for all aircraft or just this one. I'm also going to figure out how you're putting that front lip on the wings and begin to copy you. It's pretty sweet WinsWings !
@WinsWings I was up. I'm almost always up. Lol, I wish we could contact each other outside of this forum.... There's things I'd like to say which I don't want to say here....
@guyfolk @icecraftgaming Hey guys, I was hoping you guys could make some time between now and the end of this weekend to try out this plane. I gave both of you credit in my first comment that I directed people to go to in the description of the aircraft. Guyfolk, your pods are the coolest thing, is it possible to program them to open just for air to air ? And or just for air to ground ? If so how ? IceCraftGaming, your interceptors are the coolest missiles in the game. I use them in all of my builds now and refer to them as "IceCraftGaming Interceptors"
@WinsWings when you make a button, put a Period " . " Inside of the box that says "ToolTip" if you do this, when the button is pushed, you won't see a giant "Activate 1" when that button is pushed. All that will appear is a tiny little dot (a period) so it won't be distracting or take up a bunch of the screen. Give it a try. Z
@WinsWings right now I did lower the yield of the cleavers you should be able to watch the explosion from 2 miles. The other cleavers it was almost 4 miles. If you want to tweak the cleavers, press the button that looks like a less </> , then change the top drop-down menu to missile, then change the number next to explosionScale from 30 to something lower. I'm speaking about the overload mod that now is available for all versions. Once I started messing around with numbers inside of here it opened up a whole new world for me. And I learned a bunch too....
@EasternPatrick @HOPKINS234 @BlackjackEagle did you guys see those icecraftgaming interceptors do their thing ? If you shoot one and it shows a miss, you should see it turn around, then just be patient and soon you'll see a message that says "aircraft destroyed" This plane really is a daisy to fly. Lands easy on runways, carriers, or sea and is lethal to anything that flies, floats or drives. Lol
First this used to be a boat by @WinsWings. There air to air interceptors I like to call them @IceCraftGaming Interceptors ! They follow their targets like a puppy until they hit. Missile cameras are on so you can see them turn around and chase their targets. These interceptors are in what I like to call @guyfolk "Death Pods" . You can shoot down planes with the auto Cannon but only shoot planes if they're in front of you, you can shoot your own wings off ! Small bursts work well. The autocannon works great on destroyers tanks and aircraft carriers. But I prefer using a nuclear cleaver on an aircraft carrier. Just stay back 2 miles upon detonation. It has lights for night time flying, landing hook to land on aircraft carriers etc. Please enjoy ! Z
I tried my friend, WOW did I try. I have been working on this ever since you posted it (hours) I've tried everything. Longer wings, tail, fuselage, vertical stabilizer, different engines, and I cannot get this aircraft to fly stable. Usually when I start an aircraft, I will build it with no engines and no landing gear and test the design on one of the approaches. If that design functions like a glider, that is, flies properly, then I will go ahead and add engines and landing gear and cockpit etc...... With this starting point and no matter what I do to it, it will not glide. Sorry @User11765543, but I am defeated.
I added front canards, change the setting of The gyroscope, and still could not quite get the jet to turn properly (yank and bank) but it's WAY better than I could have built. So,nice work ! Z
@BRAZUCA thanks for the spotlight ! Did you see how the trim indicator goes into negative numbers ? Feel free to put it in your sub assemblies for your future builds. As a matter of fact, take anything you like. Missiles, Nuclear cleavers, whatever you want , feel free. Thanks again for the spotlight
I am seeing the engine spinning, and making the exhaust spin as well. I don't remember ever seeing that before !?!? Is this new or is it me ? Z. (upvote)
@winswings thank you for the hex colors I will use them if I use my laptop but the program does not work on my tablet. I have been using this. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kd8o0ewDXbA/T0c-omAhagI/AAAAAAAABXg/cZwhklJrGtY/s1600/HEX+Colour+Code.jpg
@Kthepersonorguy after you read my other comment about twin booms, check this link out of a plane I made 2 months ago. But, be sure to read the instructions on how to fly it. They are in the comments. Z https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/yfvFPP/Zs-F-5-Snipe
@Kthepersonorguy I like the twin boom I don't think there's any reason to abandon the twin boom design. The aircraft just needed control surfaces in the right place and in the right amount. With the twin booms you could put some really cool landing gear on each boom.
@BRAZUCA @EasternPatrick @DARZAVIATIONOFICIAL Thanks you guys for taking the time to fly this and upvote. I really hope you liked it. I spent hours on the tiniest things to make them perfect. Like the changing engine exhaust colors. I think there might be between four and six different colors. I have a HEX color sheet I found on Google that I use to try out different colors. I also always try to use 000000 as one of the colors. That's black btw.
@WinsWings Thanks. One night I fell asleep working on it, woke up an engine and some other parts were scattered about, I had to put it all back together. Ouch. Watch closely with the engines do as you slowly increase thrust.... There's a lot of different colors mixed in there
@winswings @BRAZUCA Hey Win,look at Brazuca's rear landing gear, watch how they fold up. He used 2 sets of "rear landing gear" and stuck them together on each side ! . It's freaking genius.
+2@EasternPatrick did you try the hidden radar screens ? Do you like what I did ?
@IceCraftGaming Ice I remember you now, you're in high school and you're considering going into aeronautics. Sorry I forgot about our conversation my friend it's early here too. Ps I just spotlighted Ace Avenger A
+1@IceCraftGaming , Ice did you try the hidden radar switch ? I'm super proud of those. I'm dying to know what you thought of them.m

@WinsWings lol
+1This is so nice ! It turns on a dime and looks fantastic Win. Seriously, nice work my friend !
+1Sorry your cat died, I lost my cat about 6 months ago as well. It sucked. :(
+1@b00stJuNKy omg now that's funny ! ! !
@GuyFolk Wow GuyFolk ! I started reading just the first few pages of "Funky Tree" programming. I have a bunch to learn. But, I think it will be fun. Thanks for the resource. Z
Fyi Just the cockpit with a computer without all of the other stuff that was contained in the post the part count is 698.
+1This looks just like a cockpit for an airliner. It has the APU, the bleeds, I need to build a plane just to use this cockpit !
@winswings if you do email me give me a bit maybe even till tomorrow to send you my personal email as I am just sitting down to dinner

+1@WinsWings Found it ! I will need a day.... But I will fly w tablet right now..
@Cobrafighters lol
