@MonsNotTheMonster When you double the fuselage, you also double the engine power. But it doesn't mean you got the efficiency - because you also double the drag force. So basically .... NO. It may be even slower in a real-world situation. Just answering the question, (this is a cool fictional build and nothing wrong with it)
@GeneralCorpInc
Good idea with your concept, and thanks for joining. Here is my input that may be helpful for your future builds.
- I consider your build as quite a modern design built between 1980-2010 by looking at the nosecone and style of the aircraft. Also, the blade style "Scimitar" (which is a modern one) will usually paired with a turbo-prop engine. So using an (old-fashioned) radial piston engine looks a bit off to me. Not many people will be picky about it, but just sharing my knowledge. Have fun and appreciate for joining.
Hello friends, I have some urgent things (in good ways though) and so I got delayed in the judging process. I will post the results once I am done. Maybe in a week. Sorry for the lateness. Sept/3/2024
I haven't been inactive on SP for 2 weeks for a good reason - I was visiting the Washington DC area and the National Air and Space Museum (Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center). There are 2 large avaition museums in DC area, and this museum is not one in the city (which most tourists visited), but it's located close to Dulles International Airport. There's so much to say, So I'll post videos about the VTOLs, helicopters, and restoration hangar in the next one.
This is part-2 special on helicopters and VTOLS, and about the restoration hanger-
I wish you all for some good inspirations and mood to build new staff - Enjoy!
