Intermezzo

War Lightning is a world war II-themed series of PEA-ish styled aircraft with realistic damage model.

PEA-ish Style

All War Lightning aircrafts are built in PEA-ish style, while not being a true (Auto-spawnable) PEA. With simple vanilla parts (no custom fuselage-made wings and landing gear) for keeping the parts and performance cost as low as possible. So it can be mass-spawned as an enemy AI (or at least creates no lag for mobile users). We also tried to maintain a quiet realistic appearance and flight model.

Damage Model

All War Lightning aircrafts are made using (Damage) Module modular system, wich is creating a realistic "controlled" damage to the aircraft (so you can still flying despite losing ½ of your wing or other parts). By using parts separation ("segmented" wings by using detacher parts on some of the wing connection) and fuel distribution (only inner-wings contained fuel, so no random explosion), eliminating "chain-reaction" damages (especially on wings). It is also paired with realistic gun damages.
