@Shmexysmpilot - Do you have the game in PC version? If so you can hack the XML file which is located at: C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns Feel free to save my props as a sub assembly.
I've already created two versions... Not that hard for me to release if you want them. One with slight mods and the second version is 950 MPH and has semi retractable landing gear.
Hi, I downloaded and fixed the parts that fall off. I modded the engines and fiddled with the CoM. Let me know if you want that released as a swap. If you do, you'll hsve to give me time to delete the version on my side before you reload.
Thanks for the rating. I can't download your plane since the Android beta is newer than the PC version (bummer). What did you change the COM to? Was it something like centerOfMass="0,0,3"? I'll rate as soon as I can download. Dev is waiting for apple to approve before general release. That should happen any day now. Like the color btw ;-)
@corey1324 I hacked wings and blocks (to move them into my desired location). I also hacked nose cones to get my desired shape, the front landing gear to move it down a bit, and the cockpit to move it down a slight bit. Engines are stronger as well. @Lkirby the link to beta is above. Note that there are no new parts in beta. Everything you see here is something you can do on your PC with your current version. I've had luck hacking on PC more so than Mac, and don't think you can do it on iOS at all. I've seen simple hacks on Android. The XML file you need to adjust is in c:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\LocalLow\Jundree\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns Be sure to back up your XML file always! Also, you hack at your own risk since a Dev update can make you hacked planes fall apart or not run at all.
After extensive testing of your aircraft, I have come to a positive conclusion! All your aircraft have a unique form and to me, that deserves five stars. Both warbirds, have unique flight characteristics, as the F-238 and the Star Jumper are too laggy for me to test, but look fantastic! Keep it up!
I'm decided to try your plane out, since you deserve to be noticed. I liked you airplane and really enjoyed firing missiles into the mountain. Because your wheels are so far back, the aircraft can't rotate and that is why it won't take off until the end of the runway. Good job otherwise! Keep building aircraft and keep posting!
I want to enter this challenge, but I don't know about powered gliders. My glider has a retractable engine, but if powered gliders aren't allowed thats fine.
@Authtos I agrree, but the drag was not so bad with this one simple design. Have you tried unpacking the asset bundes yet? We don't quite haveod support yet, so adjusting existing assets is all we can share.
@Teus @ZFM99 Thanks for the ratings. @JMicha4 the beta version is free... see the link above. You don't need it for this. All I did was add parts and adjust the settings in the xml under: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns This is for windows of course.
@Stingray the beta enrollment for iOS is closed, but you can still get the OSX beta. Have a look at reddit.com/r/simpleplanes and look for the Dev invite to try the beta. It contains links to download.
@Stingray no you can keep the rating. I'm not annoyed at you, but there are lots of people who grab planes, change color and post. Are you running beta? If so check out the beta version of this. I can teach you how to hack parts if you are interested.
@WeirdheadedRedbeard Go for it :-). Ping me when you create the plane; I'd like to see what you make. Thanks for the rating!

The famous Ender Dragon!!
Thanks @planesnthings! It would be cool to see yours anyway!
Brilliant design!
@Wakescar @Makcoink @Airdude thanks for your kind ratings!
This one flies great! Try retractable landing gear on other planes!
Thanks @Asdf71357
Cool!
@Makcoink yeah, I have a version that is only the plane. Its called 737 Bomber.
Here is the fast version: http://i.imgur.com/1xvwKyF.png

Thanks @Wakescar I'm a fan of your work, too.
@Allstarship much thanks!
Thanks @Teus
Ahh, you go by ratings?
Thanks @Allstarship! So then did the Mig 3 come in third? And the P-38 Lightning in First?
@Allstarship how are you going to judge this challange? So meny good entries!
@BrainyDJ yes it is a airplane, but also classified as a glider. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_glider
I like it, but at the very least you should give credit to the original creator. Hint... WalrusAircraft's solar system.
Thanks @JMicah4 I'll try that out on my next design. I might redo the zero with lighter parts next time.

I really want to test this out, but without BETA I can't do anything.
I am officially your fan!
@DrDub thanks for the rating!
Thanks @JMicah4 for the rating. I appreciate that!
Have you ever ran the trench at 1,000+ mph? XD
Nice job keep it up!
Thanks @Slugterra !

I like this small plane! Other then a minor pitch problem, it's fine! Maybe you could do a Russian I-15 next, if you have the time!
I can't test it now, but this looks EPIC!
This is beautiful! Very cool stuff!
Creative!
One of the few planes I have saved to mess around with later!
Thanks @planesnthings @Ctracerx2 and @Wormforce It means a lot!

5 stars on looks! I still need to fly it.
WalrusAircraft approves nose cone planes.

Forgot to mention to always make a backup of any work you do with the raw XML.

Love driving it around!
Now I need a target.....
