@Scriefers - thanks for those kind words. Perhaps we can work on something together in the future. The update will bring new opportunities for great builds with low part counts, so maybe we can agree to work on a unique boat together.
@Scriefers - Jr. Is bugging me to lay down he keel on the Yamato, but I'm skeptical that we will have a large laggy ship. What happened to the Bismark?
@TheHardcoreFlyer - thanks for the rating. Check out some of my notes here. I need to finish these notes, but there is enough to get started. https://www.reddit.com/r/SimplePlanes/comments/3acdsn/modding_notes/?
@Scriefers - Thanks Scriefers. We are both honored by your rating. We version our planes as we work. I think we got up to version 50 before we released. Somewhere around version 29 or 30, we switched from small modded jets to large props which are quite overclocked. We think the torque from the props rotates the plane. Yeah, 20 hours seems low, but I've hacked on websites for 15 years, so I'm fairly fast working in XML. If you add in staring at the screen mindlessly, you can add in another 3 - 5 hours. I'm also kind of odd in that projects, whether they be around the home or in this game, appear to me as exploded diagrams in my head. It is a little difficult to explain, but to me everything is already built, and I just need to get there. Jr. is also getting faster. He is a pretty bright 11 year old who tests two grade levels above, and he has more original ideas than me. As a father, it has been really rewarding for me to play with him in this community and this game. Just so you know, he has always held you in the highest regard as a player and builder. I hope you continue to share your great work with the community.
@Authros - Sweet! I'm glad you were able to fly it. Kevin says it fits in the hanger, so your plane may fit, too. It would be awesome to put both planes out on the Tarmac. I've had a glimpse of what's coming and it is awesome.
@PlanesOfOld - OK thanks. If I want to do a good job on the roundel, I'll need to use @DADOU 's technique, which is way more time consuming. Otherwise, I use nose cones that look square like.
@FlOu @abhay @drdoom222 @THEaviator - Thanks for the ratings. Say drdoom222, I didn't know it had eight engines. I know the prototype had eight, and there were twenty variations over the years. I always assumed it used gears to spin the contra rotating props from a single engine. My Evo X is similar in that it does not have a dedicated reverse gear and instead uses 1st and 3rd to make reverse. THEaviator, I'll make the U2 after the update comes out. It will be easy as pie for anyone to make great planes once the update is here. Trust me!
@PlanesOfOld - I'll get that to you tonight. Can you find me a picture since there are different versions? Also provide the size (one block, two block, and so forth). Finally, tell me if you need it located on a block or a wing. The German cross is made from nosecones, so the challenge is they have to attach to blocks, unlike the Macadonian insignia that was made from wings and could be attached to each other.
@WeeBabySeamus - That's sweet Kevin! I'm so glad it fits. These guys are going to freak out when they see your awesome work. All of you have put so much effort into this update.
@PlanesOfOld - I used my Yamato guns to get a compact block with lots of wings, and then used some math to figure out the geometry for the body shape. There are very few block in this plane, so the Yamato guns proved to be useful. Thanks again for the rating.
@ PlanesOfOld - Your German crosses? I can work on those tonight. You want them a block in size, right? BTW, I've seen pics of the gunners waving from the rear bubble window.
Corey, this is one of the nicest planes you've built. I'm happy to see this. I'm afraid I can't fly it now, but on looks alone you get my blessing.
@Scriefers - thanks for those kind words. Perhaps we can work on something together in the future. The update will bring new opportunities for great builds with low part counts, so maybe we can agree to work on a unique boat together.
I tried this out and it is brilliant!

@TheHardcoreFlyer - you can mod on android. Let me find the path you need.

Your work is always so witty and clever.

@planelover400 - I'll try my best. Next week should be interesting with the cool updates.
@Vikdesigns - Thanks dude! Yeah, I locked the thrust ports and turned the VTOL engine down to 0.1 % power in this build.
@planelover400 - maybe in a week. The new update will be out next week, so I'm looking forward to seeing what new things we can do.
@Authros - are you waiting for the new props before you upload?
@PlanesOfOld - I used my Yamato guns to get a compact block with lots of wings, and then used some math to figure out the geometry for the body shape. There are very few block in this plane, so the Yamato guns proved to be useful. Thanks again for the rating.
I flew this around and it flew great! I like the nose gear!
@planelover400 - Whoops wrong person I replied to. I have two requests before that b-29. Smaller things, but I'm trying to keep my commitments.
@Kevpilot - Thanks for the rating, man.
