@DragonAerotech - I was living in Canada at the time, but was 8 years old. I remember walking around the back of my home after hearing the news. This, the Challenger disaster and September 11th are events etched in my memory forever.
That's kind of you, but remember to look at our early work; it is nothing to write home about, but we all get better with practice. The best work on the site moves everyone forward as we learn and grow from each other. People need to not worry about what they need to build and work from inspiration. @bjac0
Generally speaking, this is a very good community, but as it grows it can attract negative individuals that drives away players. The devs and moderators are all reasonable people, so infractions have to be serious or a pattern of bad behavior has to be recognized before someone is banned. @BroPlanes
Found this on Wikipedia... To reliably penetrate the thick armor of modern armored vehicles, a very long, thin kinetic-energy projectile is required. The longer the projectile is in relation to its diameter, the higher the spin rate must be to provide stability. Practical rifling can only stabilize projectiles of a limited length-to-diameter ratio, and these modern rounds are simply too long. These rounds are instead formed into a dart shape, using fins for stabilization (see kinetic energy penetrator for information on how this works). With the fins for stability, rifling is no longer needed, and in fact the spin imparted by rifling would degrade the accuracy of a finned projectile. The first tank with a smoothbore gun was the Soviet T-62, introduced into service in 1961; today all main battle tanks except the British Challenger 2 and Indian Arjun MBT use smoothbore guns. The Russian navy conducted experiments with large-caliber smoothbore naval guns, which were halted by budget cuts.
Just some feedback on your awesome tool. When scaling down my MAZ, the wheel colliders were acting up (causing the truck to hover over the ground). Also, the car engine does not scale in power. I'll keep testing.
@Peps - @HellFireKoker is making a scale tool. I know another player (who I won't mention without his permission) has pushed for this tool. The tool is under construction since it is still a bit buggy. You can see his other interesting and useful mod here.
To have a successful beta, everyone who is in the beta really needs to test and post bugs. Try building things. Do you see problems? Try driving or flying different creations. Do you see abnormal behavior? Explore the islands, cross bridges and check out buildings. Are your creations running smoothly over the terrain? Are you hitting any hidden colliders? Try the AI, different challenges, and change around settings. Really try out every aspect of the game and try to report at least one bug. Restrain the urge to suggest new features since this period is all about fixing bugs. Also, remember to have fun!
@Kimo @JTM55 @Cedy117 @JoeAdkinson13 @Tieler - thanks guys. @BRuthless @MrMecha - Stone Age is best age! Also, I think @Spiritusraptor could pull off legs an feet on this quote well.
@DankMeme - I thought it was both, but it only worked for PC (scaling). Please check with @HellFireKoder
@CarlosDanger13 @Flyingtacos Here is something you can use

@MoterKade @DragonAerotech - now you've got my curiosity peaked on your ages. Do you remember where you were when Regan was shot?
Thank you @Jupiter28 I appreciate your feedback.
On the wheels, use use: disableAircraftCollisions="true" between the materials="x,x,x" and the >
@PizzaCowDragon - I have a few requests backed up right now, but I'll consider it 🙂 Nice username btw.
Finally, someone noticed 😃@oOHexaCube7Oo
@genralplane One Lego man coming right up! http://minifigs.me/
Wow! Great job!
Seems like yesterday...

@Thefalloutplayr - I've heard it said that the armored bulldozer won the war. Without it the "Island Hopping" strategy would not have worked.
Look in the comments below. I've listed the link. Thanks for the comment! :-) @DankMeme

Beautiful creativity with this one. Actually The M1A1 is smooth bore. The Leopard 2A4 and 2A6 use the same gun. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rheinmetall120mm_gun @SomeonesALTaccount
Great job!
Sure I'll do that. @zackattack316
You Yabba Dabba Did it!
For scale... @xEliteGamingx
Wow! I just noticed that. @Redlord
Wow! @KerbalVehiclesCompany
You should Yabba Dabba Do that @Austinbryant
We can see that. Lol. @Austinbryant
About 10 minutes. I just wanted people to know what is possible with the right tools. The full size truck took 15 hours. @JMicah4
OK, so Walrus Jr. myself and Kevin Murphy (dev) looked at this and we all had a good laugh. This is awesome!
That made me laugh!

@EternalDarkness - No, I'm not a 9gager, but Reddit is awash with bananas for scale,
Now is your chance to grab really small parts...
@BaconAircrafts - Walrus Sr. here. Walrus Jr. is working on a big rig.
Thank you @HellFireKoder for your scaling tool. You do great work.
@Rohan - Lego man for scale https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/0U3X3Z/Lego-Man-For-Rohan
Sigh... I accidentally deleted the hangouts conversation between us. Would you mind setting up a new one?
Thanks @Ironghost ! Glad you like it.
Rock and Rick Roll @Notapier
Here is the Kevin we all know and love. You are the original best builder. Beautiful work WeeBaby!
sent you an email. @Rohan
Wow! Great car!
I'm really enjoying your build. Thanks for putting in all the effort!

Thanks for trying it out and for the nice comment @Skyfalcon
lol! @SkipperBing
Yes, of course. Let me know when you are done so I can check them out. @Seabo14
Sure, I'll do that. @Rohan

Thank you @PlanesOfOld You know, Walrus Jr. still flys some of your older designs from time to time.
