So you have a DC-3 on a pole outside your base? @Insertname

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

    Hello and thank you! @SimplePlaneCreations

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

I won't ask you any questions for obvious reasons, but I'm always glad to hear from a mechanic. @Insertname

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

Thank you! @Insertname you work on 5th generation fighters? That's interesting.

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

    Thanks! @JackTheBestBoss

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

I know it seems gross, but I needed to make sure I did not have Cancer. You can never be too careful. There was a young man on this site last year that had cancer. I don't know what became of him. @CODENAMEBOB

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

    Thank you! @BogdanX

I went in for possible hernia repair. It turned out to not be a hernia, but a mass needed to come out. Probably the most painful recovery I've ever had since the bruising and swelling is very pronounced. @Himynameiswalrus

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

Thanks for the tip, and I agree with your comment on the ailerons. To be honest I'm recovering from a painful surgery and was too exhausted to put in my normal detail. Maybe on the next version. @BogdanX

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

Thanks! I appreciate your kind words. @Cedy117

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

    Thank you @CRJ900Pilot !

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

@IMDABEST OK cool thanks for the feedback, yeah you will probably need the physics turned at high because of the way this plane was built. Hope this helps!

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

@BaconEggs Dammit Daniel, just followed you, and your meme to.

    Walrus Jr.

  • DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain) 9.0 years ago

@IMDABEST - That's odd. What settings / device are you on? I just tried it on my iPhone 5 and it seems to work OK.

  • Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI 9.0 years ago

    @jamesPLANESii Do what?

  • NEED A CHANNEL NAME!!! 9.0 years ago

Cool! Try on screen text instead of your voice like Danny2462, and for a channel name just use Bacon Aircrafts.

  • Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI 9.0 years ago

@Treadmill103 @Cedy117 @Himynameiswalrus @CaesiciusPlanes @TheOwlAce @dogspit - Oh, thanks guys! The old planes are not as popular on this site as modern creations, but there is something nice about a plane that was designed with a steering wheel ;-)

  • SimplePlanes Beauty 9.0 years ago

    Very pretty!

  • Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI 9.0 years ago

@Fishbowl1121 @BaconEggs @PalCoInc - Jr. went to bed, so let me thank you on his behalf. Good night from Texas!

  • Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI 9.0 years ago

Walrus Sr. here (since Jr. went to bed) This one was all his plane, but yeah as a father / son team we bounce ideas off each other all the time. @CODENAMEBOB

  • CedCo M26 5.ton 9.0 years ago

I will try this on my Pc later. Glad you are still building things!

  • 1:1 scale Airbus a330-300 "SWISS" 9.0 years ago

It is a good airplane. Keep flying! @FearlessFabEngineering

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

I put a lot of work into making this as accessible as possible to mobile players. Notice my panels are single pieces for example. The bottle took 8 parts, so I decided to drop it. @RMark1

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

    I know.... sad! @RMark1

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

I'm pretty tied up right now but I can look at it. I might not have time. @NailedByAce

  • EA-6B Prowler (slight rant included) 9.0 years ago

@dogspit I got him started with the game when we made a stick plane that would do backflips. Fun times!

  • A-7D Corsair II 9.0 years ago

Good job! Low part count makes it easy to fly on mobile.

  • EA-6B Prowler (slight rant included) 9.0 years ago

Yes I have had some of those moments my self. It kinda is upsetting when you spend two weeks on a plane and then your dad makes a vastly more successful flintstones car.

  • scania r 9.0 years ago

    Excellent job!

  • TU-95 Bear (Please Read Instructions) 9.0 years ago

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation @jabana - Thanks to both of you!

  • chazasen military truck 9.0 years ago

    @Patrick20206 @MrTaco - seems legit. ;-)

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

Walrus Jr. wants me to make that truck, too! It is a huge build. My advice it to really optimize part count. @FasterThanLight

  • Walrus Soap Box Flyer 9.0 years ago

Yes, this is Walrus Sr. We started this game nearly two years ago and collaborate on lots of builds. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • TK-1C Assault 9.0 years ago

@SunFire - I'm sure you have. I've been hacking at this game for two years now, and I've created lots of weird things since then. I like your ship!

  • TK-1C Assault 9.0 years ago

That looks like the original walrus prop I released a year and a half ago. Free-Props-III-and-other-things @EternalDarkness

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

@Shmexysmpilot Good! Sr. worked hard to reduce parts.

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

I wanted to put a. Issue like my other MAZ. I might still to that, even though this MAZ was just a tank transporter. Missiles are fun 😊@Cleats17

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

I started one, but got sidetracked on a DC-3. @Cleats17

  • Tug Life 9.0 years ago

    Thanks guys! @Patrick20206 @ChaMikey

I'll scale this for you tomorrow. @FearlessFabEngineering @FearlessFabEngineering

  • Mobile-friendly designs 9.0 years ago

No, XML does not affect how the part interacts with other parts. @niccotaglia

  • Mobile-friendly designs 9.0 years ago

I didn't see it. Was it made of structural panels? @CaesiciusPlanes

  • Mobile-friendly designs 9.0 years ago

You might find this interesting... My new Asus ROG gaming laptop has 40 GB of RAM and when I explode more than 4 large bombs at the same time running on highest settings, my laptop lags. My laptop runs a NIVIDA GFORCE 965M.

  • Mobile-friendly designs 9.0 years ago

@niccotaglia - I don't believe so. Pistons, rotators, weapons, floating blocks, deachers, and similar blocks that affect other parts affect performance. Structural parts OK. Some of Hypnotoads airplanes are a good example of high performance parts that don't affect performance. Take our original Mikasa It is a pig because we were forced to use floating blocks (which the devs originally warned us were memory intensive), detachers, and rotators. Even our mobile friendly version is not that friendly. @CaesiciusPlanes - BogdanX's Red Baron is only 145 parts. Also note that when the Maywar island was created, it was over 700,000 polygones, which is why it does not run on mobile. WeeBabySeamus (game artist) created Sky Park for the mobile users as an alternative.

  • Mobile-friendly designs 9.0 years ago

There is no specific size, but planes around 250 parts with limited numbers of physics hungry parts like rotators are usually okay for mobile. Note that the AI planes are under 30 parts. 800 + parts won't even load on mobile. SP is a memory intensive game.

  • Andrew Garrison 2.0 9.0 years ago

Do you remember the scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind with the weird long armed alien at the end of the movie? That's what comes to mind here. 5/5 for reaching master troll status. I'm waiting for Andrew's response. Lol! @PhilipTarpley

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

Sounds like you got a nice parting gift from your drill sergeant. I would love to have that here in the US. @Smasher

  • Tug Life 9.0 years ago

    That's very punny! @SkyShot

  • MAZ 537G 9.0 years ago

Thank you for the comment. It has an interesting translation. Are you in the VK SP site as well? As for cost, I think even with the cheaper price, there are still major costs with transportation and repairs. @209CATrus
