@ShatSlanger @RailfanEthan @pushthelimits @mrferretairlines @Mumpsy @TrainDude @Tully2001 @Treadmill103 @SkullsAndCrossbones - Thanks for the comments, folks. Walrus Sr. here. I'm middle aged, but even I enjoy a nice Thomas episode whilst enjoying a nice beverage and rare steak. Walrus Jr. has moved on, but let's face it... we all come back to our childhood shows at some point in life.
@REW - They were close to creating tracks, but probably didn't want to rob other games of future features. There is another game in the works now that will be quite interesting. You would be surprised to hear what was on the drawing table at points in the past with SP. Tracks are not really that much of a stretch.
Nice job on this. The tracks work great and you've expanded the capability of the game. I remember when the first swash plate prototype was created a year ago, and that led to many follow-up improvements. This game needed good tracks and I was bugging the devs to add them for some time. Your creation fills a void in the SP community.
PlanesofOld: You need to start something normal sized, then add enormous wings (structural of course). Add control surfaces to the wings and scale the weight down. Use my regular expression trick (see recent post) to do this quickly. Once you have the flight characteristics figured out, and your weight down, then scale down your giant wings down 90% or so. This way you can still see them, but physically they work like your giant versions. You then scale your whole ship up to the size you want (scale weight down again and test). If everything works as you like, further scale the wings down to 0.001 and you're done. @EliteIndustries1
@SirDankalot - Thank you. It comes down to xml modding to bring the weight down. See my comments below to know how to make this happen on your own creations. Let me know if you have further questions.
@TheLatentImage - In another time, an age forgotten to mortals is a vestige of an alternate reality only known to the eternal self. Into this space we fall and wake up to a world of airships and steam, machines wrought in brass and iron, managed by mustached men with sweaty brow and hard hands. Yea we sail tonight on airships of the crown and empire, ready to make battle in once sovereign sky. - Just a little something for you Latent since you are a man of words.
@Cedy117 - It is really simple actually. You need to start something normal sized, then add enormous wings (structural of course). Add control surfaces to the wings and scale the weight down. @AdrianFlyingAce - I use my 3 1/2 year old iPhone for reference. If I can download and fly on this old thing, then I assume it works fine for mostly everyone. I'm curious, what device are you using? Also, I'm told the iPhone 7 can run even my super sized airship, but that device is reportedly faster than a 2013 MacBook Pro.
I know you've all seen a lot of these from me, but this one gave Jr. and me the most fun to play with. It really is wonderful if your computer is up to the task.
You've caused confusion and delay! @Kerbango
Fantastic job!

This one is much better. Try adjusting your Center Of Mass (COM) for better results.
@ShiptyCo - Start with simple airplanes, understand how the aircraft behave, and you can them move onto more challenging projects.
@BaconAircraft @EliteIndustries1 - Added bonus when you have children is you get to watch these shows all over again.
Special thanks to @lindv for his Plant's and Zombies creation which is the balloon, and @Toscio56 for his nifty gyros.
Sure, what advice do you need? @ShiptyCo
Try an airship. I posted the secret to how I made mine in the comments of my last creation. I'm here to help if you need it. @Tristan1324
I remember you. Why did you reset? @Tristan1324
Yes, that makes sense. Thanks for replying. @JustPancake
This is honestly a very good job. The only thing I can't figure out is how you got the engine to be quiet. Hoe did you manage that?
I don't believe you will see an update to SP. A new version of simple rockets, then maybe SP 2 @REW
Yes, this version I made was a a VMF(N)-513 F4U-5N and used during the Korean War. @Lucastricolorfactory

@ReischetzFokke - Try looking at this http://jailbreak-iphone.ru/en/tag/nano/ Use at your own risk of course.

Lol this is cute

I look forward to seeing that. @EliteIndustries1
Wonderful! thanks for the comments. @Sparrow007 @BogdanX

Thanks. I try hard to keep part count down. @Unreliablewaffle365
You should try making something like this @EliteIndustries1
There are no gyros. See my response below to @Cedy117 for the steps on how I built it. @EliteIndustries1

Yeah, that's really odd. I found the same true for me. @AdrianFlyingAce
Yes, I'll try one. 😀@CortwadeAirlines
@Treadmill103 @Flightsonic @Ctracerx2 @MrSilverWolf @EternalDarkness @BaconEggs - Thanks gentlemen.
That actually looks like a fun build. You're a Dr. Who fan?@septicfoot
Thanks once again @jamesPLANESii
Very kind of you. Thank you. @Liquidfox
Thanks @ShatSlanger you make some nice planes yourself. I'm following you now.
@Cedy117 @RealQcan - thanks guys. Sr. Here. I get a kick out of these slow moving ships.

@saturn28 - Thanks!
He never left! @MAHADI
@KDS - Doesn't that just change one part at a time? This changes the attributes for thousands of parts (if you have that many) at one time.
Tjhanjs @JayJoeCc
@Clawsome @ProKillaV12 - thanks guys, and yeah... those biplanes can take a beating.
A a car guy, I approve this creation.
Brilliant detail. Indeed to much, but that is what I love about this design!
I did make a bigger one, but if you are on mobile you might not be able to use it. Look on my profile to see it. @F458S
@Insertname @MrDoolittle - iPhone 7 is more powerful than my 2013 MacBook Pro. Truly an amazing device!
@Insertname - Oh, that's good news. You must have a good iOS device.
@saturn28 @TheOwlAce @SimpleFlow - Thanks very much!
I know you've all seen a lot of these from me, but this one gave Jr. and me the most fun to play with. It really is wonderful if your computer is up to the task.
@Bladeguy57 @TheOwlAce - Thanks guys.
