Oh, and are you having problems with the terrain being shiny? I can't tell from the screenshot, but if you are change the property in the terrain settings that is built-in standard diffuse to built in legacy diffuse that, as well as my previous comment, is what I say to practically all map mod sees and should be written down somewhere.
Hey! Nice. About those water issues - did you put a light in it like it said in the video? If so, that's probably the problem. Since ages ago Simpleplanes has had its own lighting system, separate to the map. Delete the light and see what ya think.
@JakeTheDogg like caves, tunnels would be impossible 🙅. Basically there is no way for the terrain to 'go back in on itself'. The only way to do that would be to create multiple terrains, to serve as the 'roof' of the cave. But, as demonstrated at Snowstone, when viewing from far away it can get messed up.
@Thehtmguy the terrain is realistic, so I don't really want to modify it. As to the airstrip, there is an airport in real life in the area I'm recreating, so there will be one.
@thenight well, if you look closely it's quite square, because of the low res data. I will smooth it out at some point.
@Jetspeed1001 @MechWARRIOR57 @birdsofsteel @MrSilverWolf @JacobHardy64 @SteadfastContracting @Lucasmah @LoneWolfEnterprises New image.... what do you think?
@birdsofsteel I haven't even got to the part when I turn it into a mod yet, I'm justr getting the terrain. But unless there is a particular reason which means I can't (unlikely), then yes, I will
@palp in XML modding, you can change the input of a rotator from, say, "Pitch" to "LandingGear" and it will rotate when you press the gear button. Clever, huh?
Wow. It's just such a shame we have to use tipjets which actually provide the thrust. I am still waiting for the beta that lets us hook up car engines to rotators (and tweaks the wing physics a bit)
@EternalDarkness well, unity can't handle negative mass because negative mass is impossible. I don't think it natively calculates displacement and density etc. I think what would be in order is a fuselage that can be 'filled with helium'. It would then generate an upwards force, and explode a lot easier.
@EternalDarkness well, it's hard, since unity can't handle negative weight, it would need a force pushing it up. Since the way the game merges and creates RigidBodies, creating the force in the right place could be hard. Although, I haven't looked and there might be a function to do just that.
@Tully2001 well, the link would need to be in the comments and it would get buried.... and it seems a bit strange posting a mod in the aircraft section
@MechWARRIOR57 @kikasshes sorry if I'm being politically incorrect, but Eurovision seems to have nothing to do with music anymore, it's just political.
you have lots of designs to choose from :D
@DJWarlus you mean the
2 new

To me, notifications are like food. I live off them. Has anyone noticed that you get "2 new" notifications for an upvote?

@drei PYTHON. also check HellFireKoder's newest fine tuner mod, because it has a scale tool.

UPDATE - NEW IMAGE:
@birdsofsteel Buildings? Yes. Caves? No. Unity terrains are not like that. They are heightmaps. You get it right?

@MechWARRIOR57 yep
@Jetspeed1001 is there anything wrong with it?
@jsaret you forgot the quotes
@palp yes but when the RigidBody turns out to have overall negative mass, bad things happen. Have you tried it?
@palp in XML modding, you can change the input of a rotator from, say, "Pitch" to "LandingGear" and it will rotate when you press the gear button. Clever, huh?
Why not make your own gear with the LandingGear control axis, some pistons and rotators?

Seriously? You have more points than me and I thought I was good! You didn't get them for nothing! Just keep it up!

@Cedy117 so your points tag thing reflects your rank? (oh and congrats)
@AndrewGarrison @NathanMikeska how that happened I have no idea, though.
Umm, it looks like all transform's positions have been set to Vector3.zero
And preview images that show instead of the default speech box thing. 💬
Oh and here is a good place to look.
Oh come on @RocketLL @MediocrePlanes ! He only added two engines that are not attached!
I have already proposed this
Also, If you are looking for mods, here are some of mine:
- GPS map
- Mach Loop
@IStoleYourMeme yeah, look what I did:

+1@Wahoo12 strange, isn't it.
Hey everybody don't upvote any of my planes.
@Razr put the text in square brackets. Like this

@GreyHawkIndustries @IStoleYourMeme with the new update, bullets and explosion sizes are scales with weapons that create them
Damn this got more upvotes than a mod I spent a week on.....

@kikasshes oh well. Nice. ;)
I did that a while ago with a General Atomics MQ.9 Avenger. It's on my steam screenshots, I think. I'll post a link soon
@MechWARRIOR57 @kikasshes sorry if I'm being politically incorrect, but Eurovision seems to have nothing to do with music anymore, it's just political.
@NathanMikeska well, I better just get on with my current project :D I will never rest
Oh, and @NathanMikeska , did you see this?
@jpower for example:

@mazer33theBEAST11 also, it's Maywar
@Seabo14 Read this:
it's in the description
@Seabo14 yes, the one in the bottom two images is scaled
@NathanMikeska Oh yeah, totally forgot about that! I'll get that done. It's not such a big file size, so it should be easier.
