@Gestour if you're using 95 colliders, why not just use a mesh collider? I'm sorry if you think I did this to harm your reputation, I was intending to show people how easy it is to create mods like this. Maybe I'll post a note saying this.
@MechWARRIOR57 ah, you are an Android user. Ah well. I can only remember so many people's device preferences. Sorry if I offended you by suggesting you used ios, I might have been.
@MechWARRIOR57 ah, I see your confusion. I interpreted this as a request for a game (unity) mod, and since you (if I remember correctly) are an iOS user you interpreted it differently....
@MechWARRIOR57 what. That is totally possible. Just falls quite low on my priority list, in-designer XML editing and ingame lua scripting comes before it. And a few other projects.
If you double click it it should take you to the console where extra detail is shown. Perhaps you deleted some file?
Hit the X next to all of them to delete them and re-save the object.
How. Many. Times.
I've already linked you to a post where I explained it all.
Mods are basically packages containing code and also data such as models and textures. The code is then ran on the device. Thing is, apple won't let anyone run any code that hasn't gone through the app store. Since mods don't go through the app store, they are not allowed to run... What a shame, just don't buy apple.
@mandonkey you can use a file browser, on some android versions there's one built into the settings app (Settings->[your main storage]->explore]) and put the mod in Android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/files/mods
@mandonkey close the game, manually copy the mods into the mods folder (instead of just opening them) and then open the game. This has happened to me before where the mod has disappeared, after repeating the process a few times it worked.
Also, what version are you on? It said something in the release notes for the new update about broken textures on Mac which is exactly the problem we have here.
@FlyingHonda27 with a file browser, navigate to Android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/files/mods.
Attempt to locate the mod file, if it's not there then that's your problem (put the downloaded mod file there), if it is but it has %s in the name, then remove them. Otherwise I have no idea.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation ...............
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation it's fine...
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation haha why did I get a notification?
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation you posted something?
@Gestour I'm going to go to bed now. Argue with me in the morning.

Edit Mod Post > Publish
Press the "Publish" button to make it appear. :)
ummmmmmmmmm?
Hey, a thought on how this could be achieved without game mods, what about putting a scaled green beacon light behind the camera?
Unfortunately not on PC right now, I'll definitely test this out when I am!
Yay first
DAMMIT WHY DO I KEEP SAYING "Ah" TRUST ME THAT WAS NOT INTENTIONAL
Ah, glad that got sorted out, that was starting to confuse me lol
@KuhneStassen no, I was talking to mechwarrior....
@MechWARRIOR57 ah, I just realised I started 2 consecutive comments with "ah"... What is happening to me?

Maybe direct your attention to the red error at the bottom of the screen?
Did you save the gamobject?

I'm gonna have to try this tomorrow... I might even add support for it in my upcoming mod...

@Thecoolboy01 what?
If you're on android or PC, use hellfirekoder's extremely useful fine tuner mod. Find it in the mods section.
You can use any of your own textures or ones from the asset store, they get included in the mod package...
Actually, I'm not sure if the textures are included in the assets package in the modtools folder of the steam version... If not use the ones from this: http://www.simpleplanes.com/ModTools/SimplePlanesModToolsMapProject.zip
EDIT:
that link appears to be broken, they must have removed them.
Somewhere in the depths of Reddit there is a map project package containing some good textures... I'll see if I can find it for you.
@mandonkey close the game, manually copy the mods into the mods folder (instead of just opening them) and then open the game. This has happened to me before where the mod has disappeared, after repeating the process a few times it worked.
I think it's just signing in that you have to have mods disabled for... Not sure though.

@hockeymdog press the ` (backtick) key to open the console. Tell me if anything's red. Click on errors for more detail. Thanks!
no, BST
@Johndfg @hockeymdog can you check the dev console for errors?
@NyanCatPlanes you can on mac, but not ios
Failed to connect... Are you port forwarding?
Testing now...
@MechWARRIOR57 I think he means "depth"
Anyone got hamachi to work yet? It keeps trying to get me to sign in but the sign in page keeps giving me script errors...
@Clawsome you can nod without the PC version of SP, but you need a PC.
It's also 200x easier if you have SP for PC
Actually, I've heard of this happening to other games... Although I don't have an apple device myself.
@HSAeroWerkes1 your Google drive? It should link to the file which is shared on Google drive.
