SP Unity Help - Finding Environment Package for Textures

30.6k Cadin  7.7 years ago

Hi Again Gang,

I'm having trouble finding the textures to paint my custom map. Can I make my own or use free Unity textures? Or can I only use the basic textures for anyone to be able to play the Map?

I am fine with either, I just cannot find anything auto supplied from the Mods tools for textures. Is there a separate SP environment package I need to import? Eager to play the map!

Thank you for your help!

I would use the basic unity textures. I'm pretty sure that's what simple planes uses so it would fit right in

You can use any of your own textures or ones from the asset store, they get included in the mod package...

Actually, I'm not sure if the textures are included in the assets package in the modtools folder of the steam version... If not use the ones from this: http://www.simpleplanes.com/ModTools/SimplePlanesModToolsMapProject.zip

    EDIT:
that link appears to be broken, they must have removed them.

Somewhere in the depths of Reddit there is a map project package containing some good textures... I'll see if I can find it for you.
