@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation well, I do disable the editor drag thingy while the ui is open so you don't mess it up when clicking stuff in designer. But if you can select parts ive no idea what it is.
@EternalDarkness @JasonBourne well, dammit. The bug was triggered when clicking the button twice without closing it... looks like I missed a line of code. Sorry, I'll get an update out quick.
@Tully2001 It depends what you want them to do. To add an InputController, add the InputController component. From a script you can then access InputController.Value etc. There are some good videos: here here here and here
Currently, the AI doesn't use PIDs. But I've thought about it for a while. I've actually had an in-game scripting mod in the pipeline for a while, which I have implemented a basic PID controller and quadcopter in, which is pretty stable but needs tuning. The scripting is lua, running inside the game..
@DandruffCat It's a script attached to the engine that controls the little flaps behind the props. It has no properties, so it normally doesn't show up in the xml.
@LhageGT It really depends what you're trying to do... It should work, it has worked, and unless you have a detailed bug report I can't do anything about it.
@NathanMikesa I'm starting to think this is a game bug. I unblock the drag at the same time as the keys... Perhaps the game isn't unblocking them properly? I'll double check my code tomorrow, but I can't see how it could be caused.
@JShay I think the problem might be exiting the editor when the GUI is still open... The GUI is destroyed before it has a chance to "unblock" the keys.
@JShay this is strange... Other people have also experienced this behaviour... This is actually a feature, but it should only take effect when the overload GUI is open...
@TheNCRranger well, you could have said...?
Seriously? Just look at the highest rated mod of all time and who knows what you'll see?
@VanGuardTech maybe... I have so many other projects...
@Thebigbookofsimpleplanes make sure you have the latest version of the mod installed.
Wobsites need showing who's boss sometimes, otherwise they would take over and control us.... Oh wait, they already do.
The whole website went down recently. It should work now.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation yeah, and if there's an error you don't notice? Someone else does.
what? I didn't upvote this?
@Ryancool turn the detacher upside down.
+2@EternalDarkness phew! Thanks anyway!
@EternalDarkness what?

@JasonBourne @EternalDarkness fix is out now, as 0.82. I'll go and tell everyone else.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation is it fully updated?

@jamesPLANESii I'm working on that now
The best way to get somebody to do something is to tell them not to.

@FennVectorCWA thanks
@RedstoneAeroAviation switch to the jointrotator tab, add a new entry (add button) then call it disableBaseMesh and set it to true.
@RedstoneAeroAviation you can actually see it in the second picture
@RedstoneAeroAviation add an attribute called
disableBaseMesh
on theJointRotator
script and set it totrue
His legs have a tendency to fall off if you run too fast...
@HighOnSP some people have been reporting this problem too. Which platform are you on?
@LhageGT opening the settings panel may reset the part's power to the max allowed state...

@PlanesOfOld @FlipposMC I wanted to take a shot at air-to-air refuelling, but I'm not too sure what water would be useful for, except ballast.....
@Swiftsure it's photoshopped (or paint or whatever), to demonstrate the idea

Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Spotlighting something is an Action, ie it recommends it to your followers, and once it's done it's done...
Yup, just as saturn28 said... You can find it on the "Learn about modding" page in the mods section
@jamesb use the android download button and look in the installing mods guide here

@BaconAircraft wierd....
@BaconAircraft also, when your keys aren't working, can you still drag the view around?
@BaconAircraft weird.... You're definitely closing it with the X button?
@anssi unfortunately not, it's a shame though, and actually possible with a mod...
@JShay I might try and make a fix for it.
@Gestour not if it's from the Mac app store.... Read the guide again
