The great powers instead rely on colossal militaries, advanced industry, and cutting-edge aviation to maintain dominance. Among these giants stands the Kingdom of Stolonia, a global superpower and technological powerhouse whose aircraft factories and research bureaus are the envy of the world.

Across Solund, rival blocs maneuver in a tense, nuclear-armed stalemate. The Telel Defense Treaty Organization (TeDTO)—led by Stolonia and its allies—faces down both the hardline Fifth Internationale, centered in Kysym, and the rising industrial titan of the east, the People’s Republic of Nang. Each faction fields its own iconic fighters, bombers, transports, and experimental prototypes, many pushing the boundaries of propulsion, materials science, and Aether-integrated technology. Skies above disputed borders in Zagra, frozen patrol routes over the Aldermeer, and the monsoon-torn airways of Veyra see constant reconnaissance flights, scrambling alerts, and dangerous intercepts.
