Heyo, I replaced the Rick tag with the VR tag, as I think it could be curated! I don't have access to my virtual reality headset at the moment to test it out though, so another curator will have to take a look at it.
@TheNightmareCompany 1.12 is in the public beta branch. In steam, go to library, right click on simpleplanes, click properties, then click betas, then select the public beta. Experimental does nothing
A new curated section is likely being added and a new rank was also added.
highest ranked of all time should come back in a bit, maybe along with something else, but i dont know all the details at this moment.
this new section is for SPVR, and also is a way to gain CLOUT
Get a switch/button, set interactionType to Toggle and buttonValue to 3. also set the input of the switch/button to something suitable for repeated use, I will use ButtonA.
In the variable thing, make these three lines in the order given:
Var buttoninputA = ButtonA
Var output = clamp01(buttoninputA)
Var ButtonA = clamp(ButtonA - 1, 0, 3)
Then on anything you want to enable with this switch, set the input to:
Output >= 1 ? X : 0
Replace X with any input.
Someone who's better at FT than I am is going to come over and shame me for my spaghetti code but idc
@Tookan I'll try. They will probably stay in the same spot, but would add more levers and stuff for things you missed, and move the camera forward, as everyone puts the camera too far away
@PlaneFlightX both. You need to render 2 screens and you have to do twice the computational work for it. You also need to compute the position of the headset and other tracked objects. And all the physics SP runs

Multiplayer isn't possible across all devices, never had been possible across all devices, and never will be possible across all devices. It has been officially stated TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TIMES that multiplayer isn't happening.
If you have a beefy PC, use the MP mod.
@Willham @pedro16797 (sorry to ping you Pedro) just clarifying a bit, you have to buy it on the occulus quest store, not the occulus store, as the occulus store is for PC. I made this mistake with beat saber and getting it changed to the quest version was a nightmare
This would be easier if we knew how to proportion the controls so they would be easy to reach, is the old dummy part a good representation? As I don't have one in my subassemblies
@Griffon1 bottom is a sliced fuelslage, ceiling is too, 4 fuelslages on each side for the bins, also, this screenshot is an early backup, the current one looks much more advanced. You can find the pictures for it on SPBC
@WNP78 thanks! With question 9, I was asking that when I go to move the camera, the picture does not disappear, so you can move your aircraft in another spot in a custom thumbnail, or zoom in on parts of the aircraft without having to place down a blueprint every time.
Right now, as soon as you move the camera, the blueprint disappears
I'm mainly an Android user, so I have to wait to see the full extent of this next week

+1@WereOutOfNames 1.427E+14 years
+1@Sm10684 I'll just go dump it into the intake of a water treatment plant and then melt the barrel and sell the resulting ingots
+1Yes, green
+1@Zott sure, I don't have access to my headset atm but I will when I get a chance
+1Curator's notes
This thing is somehow almost perfectly scaled for VR, I would suggest using this aircraft's cockpit as reference
+1This thing is really agile and fun to fly on mobile, but I'll have to update it before I fly it in VR
+1@Wibbley I asked another curator to curate it as I don't have access to my headset atm
+1@uselessuser151 not as i know of, but owning both regular SP and SPVR will allow mods to work
+1@TheNightmareCompany 1.12 is in the public beta branch. In steam, go to library, right click on simpleplanes, click properties, then click betas, then select the public beta. Experimental does nothing
+1@LieutenantSOT I sorta have the ability to feature aircraft, but it's for VR instead of normal planes.
If you don't login to SPVR, the only aircraft you can see and download are curated ones
+1@Sm10684 PC, I do it over airlink bc I don't need cables with airlink
+1@Sm10684 you also need to ask Andrew and be in the alpha, but VR is cool, so I won't stop you from getting a quest of your own
+1@Sm10684 yes
+1@Sm10684 do you have a VR headset and are in the SPVR alpha?

Also, I'll have to try this out in VR later
+1@IceCraftGaming here's a button toggle FT thing.
Get a switch/button, set

andbuttonValue
to 3. also set the input of the switch/button to something suitable for repeated use, I will use ButtonA.In the variable thing, make these three lines in the order given:

+1@IceCraftGaming they do not. Declare a variable and do
+1Var=1?1:0
on whatever you wanna activatevolume warning
+1Also update MP, as it works for me
+1It enables VR in the base game, and causes a lot of other stuff to be broke because of it.
+1@Tookan I'll try. They will probably stay in the same spot, but would add more levers and stuff for things you missed, and move the camera forward, as everyone puts the camera too far away
+1@IceCraftGaming
+1You say it's not VR friendly, but I'm going to drive it in VR anyways!
+1I can't wait to try this in VR
+1@IceCraftGaming
+1@WhyBreadSoFattning oh right, android thing, heres how to do it on ios:
1: open settings
+12: look for browser app
3: click on it
4: click clear cache.
What OS are you on?
+1Shut up and take my kromer
(Also Andrew, if your reading this, I'll be happy to share some of that black licorice)
+1@PlaneFlightX both. You need to render 2 screens and you have to do twice the computational work for it. You also need to compute the position of the headset and other tracked objects. And all the physics SP runs
+1i like the recent surge of autogyros on the site, theyre fun to fly

The left rudder pedal is stuck. Also, this thing controls like a freight train in VR. Shortening the rudder might be a good fix for the stiff controls
+1@MintLynx I know, requirements will be added if I start getting a LOT.
Also, yea, it's pretty easy. Click play, pause game, click "enable VR", test controls, click "exit VR", click exit.
Maybe with permission from Andrew, I'll make a quick video of swapping between non VR and VR inside a stock craft.
+1Multiplayer isn't possible across all devices, never had been possible across all devices, and never will be possible across all devices. It has been officially stated TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TIMES that multiplayer isn't happening.
+1If you have a beefy PC, use the MP mod.
Tea please!
+1Can't wait to try some stuff out once SPVR comes out. Or I may become an alpha tester, who knows
@Willham @pedro16797 (sorry to ping you Pedro) just clarifying a bit, you have to buy it on the occulus quest store, not the occulus store, as the occulus store is for PC. I made this mistake with beat saber and getting it changed to the quest version was a nightmare
+1helo
+1how did you make this? as i wanna know how you would make the wings invisible so you can see the text only
+1if an SPVR beta happens, how will the selection process work? what versions will be tested? only PCVR or both PCVR and quest?
+1We can finally zoom in the camera further! This is a lifesaver on mobile!
+1This would be easier if we knew how to proportion the controls so they would be easy to reach, is the old dummy part a good representation? As I don't have one in my subassemblies
+1@Griffon1 bottom is a sliced fuelslage, ceiling is too, 4 fuelslages on each side for the bins, also, this screenshot is an early backup, the current one looks much more advanced. You can find the pictures for it on SPBC
+1@LieutenantSOT trailer has multiple views in the gator 2, so I belive so, but I'll stick it in the forum post
+1I didn't think of ASCII art... This will be fun
+1heyo
+1(i shall keep asking, though i shall not ping)
andrew, any plans for another tournament after SPVR?
+1@WNP78 thanks! With question 9, I was asking that when I go to move the camera, the picture does not disappear, so you can move your aircraft in another spot in a custom thumbnail, or zoom in on parts of the aircraft without having to place down a blueprint every time.

I may be one of a few people here with an oculus quest and a powerful enough PC to run VR, so I am able to test builds quickly on both platforms
