I never said how well my pc could do 50k parts, i just said it was capable
@TheGreatToad i curate aircraft for the upcoming game simpleplanes VR. I do have very weak moderation privelages, but nothing i can use is effective against rulebreakers. The mods do trust me more, and i know some classified info from the devs (i cannot confirm nor deny any questions related), so suppose i am a mini-mod of sorts
Hope ya get well soon. Just don't let your nephew go too crazy on the rudeness, i don't want you getting banned. If you dont mind me asking, was it a normal accident? Or was it something illegal on the part of one of the drivers?
@iilikesimpleplanes the rules arent clear, but it specifies that changing engine power, part drag, mass, and scale are outlawed. Anything else is fair game, including tire grip and hacked gyroscopes.
As to @bellcat 's reply, yea, this does break site rules, i already reported it
this Post will probably be taken down once
@Vincent (ping intentional btw) or another moderator finds this. This post is at the top of the forums right now, so im suprised it isnt gone yet. As for the road analogy, keep track of your thoughts, they can creep up on you and pull your progress back in an instant, taking you to a path earlier traveled, but changed enough to where you have to navigate out again.
.
Survivors guilt sucks, dont listen to those thoughts, there was no way of knowing this was gonna happen, but you can prevent this from happening in the future.
.
I also plan on moving to europe once i gather enough funds. The united states is falling to a new low, and i wanna get out of there before another civil war sparks. It wont happen within the time i graduate, but our shitshow of a political system won't last, and i want to get out of dodge before it collapses in 10 years
On the lighter side of things, if you can get your hands on an old speed radar gun, or something that looks like one, you can stand by the road "clocking" people. Enjoy as people slam on their brakes as they spot you. Heres a video of someone doing it with a hair dryer of all things
While i do feel sorry for your loss, please tone down on the profanity.
.
I lost my dog last august, it was one of the hardest things to deal with up until that time. Just four months later, my grandmother died suddenly of a heart attack, tearing my family to shreds in less than a week. my divorced mother disowned me quickly after, forcing me to take what i had left to my father's house.
.
The blind rage you currently have is only the first or second stage of grief, there is a long road ahead, one that i myself am still traveling to this day. With the one year mark from my grandmother's death only a few days away, the only advice i have to give is that this road is not a straight line. it is one with many branching paths, detours, and hitchhikers which can help you or can misdirect you into an endless loop.
.
Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and make sense of your surroundings. Everything will be ok.
@TinyBearTim i have a car that does 10 seconds, but its currently top secret as i plan on using it whenever the next tournament rolls around in 3 years
@LotusCarsSub I wish i could enter my other version of it that looks like an actual racecar, that one does 32 seconds on gold prix, the one i linked does 27
That is not how fuel works in this game. Fuel values are added from each fuel tank and the sum is used, no individual level for each part is used. When a fuel tank is destroyed, you just subtract its amount from the total
I already know this, so i might as well flex a slight amount. Heres the code for my steering system light in my racecar
.
Activate1 ? (clamp01(GS < 134.112 & GS > 67.056) = 1 ? 1 : 0) : 0
@Canadaiscold please don't ping andrew, he is busy. As for everything else, SPVR is just simpleplanes without the editor, and mods should be cross compatible, but i will have to check. SPVR will be available on app lab yes.
SideQuest also acts like a store page for oculus app lab. You can find some insanely high quality games on there, such as Tea for God, a game that turns your living room into an infinitely large space, or Pavlov: shack, the popular shooter for free on quest, with realistic guns to boot!
@TheGreatToad ive been busy irl lately, but its been cool

+1@Gestour dev console is also used to debug funky trees. You just insert the expression you want to test and it will display the output on the top left
+1@Kangy your probably right, i can run 50k parts non-VR. But in VR, 1000 parts brings my computer to its knees

+1Good question
@iilikesimpleplanes speed is limited by the tire size* not amount, the more engines and wheels you use, the faster your acceleration is

@Dathcha @KnightOfRen the simpleplanes forums arent really the place to do that though, r/vent is a better place

What are you spending this money on anyways?
Im alright, but its not easy being green
I never saw this first post before, holy shit, if it was the same person who did it, i would press charges
@iilikesimpleplanes its faster than what i posted here, but i do have a car faster than the superdooperlooper

+3@MrShenanigans like a toggle switch?
@TinyBearTim yes, a custom built AI as the defaut one keeps crashing it. The fastest I've driven gold prix is in 20
it works on games i dont own, so i suppose it would work @AeroAeroTheMen @BeastHunter
+1@TinyBearTim i have a car that does 10 seconds, but its currently top secret as i plan on using it whenever the next tournament rolls around in 3 years
@iilikesimpleplanes i just dont remember there being any results
@LotusCarsSub I wish i could enter my other version of it that looks like an actual racecar, that one does 32 seconds on gold prix, the one i linked does 27
While I find no difference in normal gameplay, the Opponent position in AI races is completely broken
run this on gold prix, AI controlled, with physics set to high.
.
I garuntee it will outperform most of the cars built on the website
Any updates?
here ya go
If you study it, you can make one for yourself
I spilled green sharpie ink on my rank, it's stuck like this now
Please read the rules before posting
Ok, what is happening here?
Its a fun car!
@Usatiger accidentally dropped it into a vat of green sharpie ink, so it's permanently like that now
That is not how fuel works in this game. Fuel values are added from each fuel tank and the sum is used, no individual level for each part is used. When a fuel tank is destroyed, you just subtract its amount from the total
So why do you need money for this? You can use whatever builds you want as long as you leave credit and have asked for permission to use them

Heyo, i removed the VR tag as this is not VR compatible. VR compatibility is having a cockpit you can easily reach out and grab controls in
+1Ill try it out in a bit
@JCCNtechnologies a long forgotten technique using airbrakes
@Bellcat there are look vector funky tree outputs now, so you can write code that does exactly this
Hmm... What is this movie about?
+8Its a render
Ill have to look through my really old saves on my kindle if their still there
+1@jamesPLANESii steam release? It isnt even out yet, its just the alpha test still

@pedro16797 so i see your selling the image file for the brown pearl poster, you know we can just take a screenshot of it...
