@RICE It won't run well on ndroid; it barely even runs properly on powerful computers. So no, an android version is out of the question for the foreseeable future.
@Nuteboy100 @PyroManiac Stop asking. Its been explained hundreds of times in the comments why android probably wont be a thing, and all you people repeatedly asking do is piss off the developers(us) and make it even less likely that we will try to do it in the future.
Just sent in a donation, since I forgot to do it yesterday. That was a fun event guys, you should host more community play sessions at some point @PhilipTarpley @joeysellers @NathanMikeska @AndrewGarrison
What, no credit to me for helping fix your wheel spaz issues? GLORY-STEALING POOPEYHEAD! Nah, just kidding, idrc and it was like a two-minute edit. Nice tank tho.
@testwok I cannot replicate this. Used "respawn here" multiple times in different locations, highway stayed consistent. Might be something with your game..... what version of the game are you on? I happen to recall that some older versions of the game had a similar issue.
@ForeverPie "both localhost settings." There is only one setting for localhost, the other is for external servers. Besides, the situation you are describing could only be replicated by not unticking the box, since plane size has no effect on glitching out the IP field(i tested with a 3000 part aircraft, no issues).
Personally, I believe most XML mods that aren't engine cheats or fuel cheats are perfectly valid. I may not like people who cheat better performance through xml, but I don't go around arguing with people just because they say they disagree. I would expect that this should go both ways, so... why the HELL are some of you going after Otter here for saying he doesn't want to XML mod? Thats his stance on the issue, and you should all respect that. He said it feels illegitimate to him, not that all your XML'ed builds were illegitimate. Grow up.
Mod has been in development for a really long time due to technical issues(its pretty large and ambitious, so stuff goes wrong often), but its making progress again and may finally be on the track to a release in the future.
@lowjames123 Three things, kiddo:
1: there was ZERO attitude in my reply, so if it made you upset you are way too easily offended to be on the internet.
2: even if there was attitude in my reply, I'd think it'd be appropriate given how many times I've explained to people on both mods WHY an android version isn't happening, and yet people keep asking for something that is literally impossible at this point.
3: Do you realize exactly who you are talking to? You think you've seen attitude? You ain't seen jack yet. I could show you some ATTITUDE that would leave you as nothing more than some charred leg bones sticking up out of burned shoes. You should really think long and hard about whether you want to push the issue here.
@toofast2002 @lowjames123 @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation There is NO android version, and it is unlikely that there will ever be an android version in the foreseeable future.
@BirdOfSteel I made them myself and placed them through unity(find a tutorial for placing objects in unity). And no, in case you are about to ask, I will not be giving out my roadway models.
The simpleplanes world is a prefab within the modtools assets package. If you don't know what a prefab is, go find some unity tutorials, and if you dont know what the asset packages are, go look at SP modding tutorials.
@BirdOfSteel ..... I have no idea what "custom editor" you are talking about, so how could I POSSIBLY know how to use it. Additionally, there is no "default map scene" in unity. You have completely missed the point on how unity works, so I suggest you go find some Simpleplanes modding tutorials or unity tutorials to point you in the right direction.
Also don't bother telling me what custom editor you are using, because I don't use custom editors and I'm not going to download one just to try and figure it out.
@IkBenEenDonut Just checked, still works for me. You are going to have to give me a tad more information than "this dont work" before I can actually help you. What is your system, what are your settings, what have you tried.
If someone was too lazy/stupid to read the instructions right by the download button on the page they got the mod from, do you think they are going to read this?
You can keep it up since technically theres nothing wrong with the post, but honestly, its just going to get buried and wind up being unread.
I'm afraid that "100% Historically EXACT replica" claim is false advertising, @RASEN1914. Dimensions and shape are off in several locations. I'd rate it somewhere around 75-80% accurate, if that. Still looks good though.
@TheBroadside that is a possibility. I am STILL developing it, but unless I can get it to perform well, I won't release it. It works for the most part, but it is just so physics-heavy that framerate suffers even on a powerful machine like mine.
@PhilipTarpley Oof, Amtrak is too expensive(just checked, its anywhere between 250-800 bucks one way)..... but perhaps look into a Skype call? I really want to be out there but I can't make it.
@PhilipTarpley Being that I'm in New Jersey, I don't think I would be able to make it there....... but perhaps I can look into the cost of an Amtrak ticket. Anyways, perhaps you guys should set up some sort of Skype thing that way people who can't be there in person could still attend remotely?
@HKAerodynamics Your answer can be found in the comments. I do not feel like repeating myself for the thousandth time.
@goutboy411 See my last comment. Also, that is not something I foresee doing.
@jsaret Afraid not. Have a full time job now, and Simplewarships is still a priority for what little free time im not using to unwind.
@arata No.

@BritishNarwhal7 Maybe some day, but right now we have more important things to be doing with this mod.
@LiamW we know about all of this. we have fixes for most of it. We just have to get around to implementing them.
@HellFireKoder Don't forget Hellfire, I have the new missile system that would fix all of the accuracy issues.
What, no credit to me for helping fix your wheel spaz issues? GLORY-STEALING POOPEYHEAD! Nah, just kidding, idrc and it was like a two-minute edit. Nice tank tho.
@testwok Thanks, glad you like it and glad you got it sorted out.
@testwok I cannot replicate this. Used "respawn here" multiple times in different locations, highway stayed consistent. Might be something with your game..... what version of the game are you on? I happen to recall that some older versions of the game had a similar issue.
@ElGatoVolador READ. INSTRUCTIONS.

@ForeverPie are you sure you actually unticked the localhost box before trying to type in a new IP?
@OtterOfToast Don't mention it.

@MechWARRIOR57 They are. It's depressing, really.
@GoldenHawk Why don't you actually check the mods section and download the released version.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I am an equal-opportunity offender!
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Very unlikely. If you have even the slightest understanding of how computers work you'd know why.
@lowjames123 No android version. May never be an android version either.
@toofast2002 @lowjames123 @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation There is NO android version, and it is unlikely that there will ever be an android version in the foreseeable future.
@BirdOfSteel kk good luck with mapping.

@ChasingHorizon No.

You can keep it up since technically theres nothing wrong with the post, but honestly, its just going to get buried and wind up being unread.
@aircraftarsenal123 Have you considered that the servers may no longer be up?
And our instructions on the mod page weren't good enough?
@Kouda Wow, thats a ton of useful information that will totally help us fix your problem...... not.
@mustafanaveed It's on the to-do list.
@adide Perhaps read the instructions. Also, make sure you actually activated the mod.
I'm afraid that "100% Historically EXACT replica" claim is false advertising, @RASEN1914. Dimensions and shape are off in several locations. I'd rate it somewhere around 75-80% accurate, if that. Still looks good though.
@adide It means there is no "connet" command. However, there IS a "connect" command ;)
@TheBroadside that is a possibility. I am STILL developing it, but unless I can get it to perform well, I won't release it. It works for the most part, but it is just so physics-heavy that framerate suffers even on a powerful machine like mine.
@TheBroadside Nope.
@poenix Go to the mp mod page and read the instructions.
@ShatSlanger Sidebar. The big wall of text is there for a reason.

@StormstarHTF Unlikely due to performance issues.
As a man of science, this hurts. Good job.
@ZaneAtnip Not at the moment.
