Try to put more fuel into the plane. A way to do that is to use a fuselage and you can customize it to how you want like a wing. You can also put fuel in it and also dead weight and buoyancy if you want to make a boat plane.
Can you make the Fiat g-350 diavolo? It's a made up fighter that was to late to make it into the war. It's too speed is 500 and could outmaneuver a p51.
