Okay, here’s what I noticed:
- Acceleration is a bit slow, but that’s fine for now
- Maneuvering is a bit lacking. An easy way to fix that is moving the CoM (Center of Mass) closer to the CoL (Center of Lift/Pressure), or setting the elevators on rotators set to the pitch input (and change the angle to about 10°-15°, speed anywhere between 50%-100%)
- Speed also seems really low. A trick I use is hiding jets inside of the fuselage.
@AZAMGAMING the doctrine is something I made up, off of the famous meme of the KSP troubleshooter (add more boosters, add more struts), but it’s always good to see another Kerbal engineer!
@Noname918181 or just add jet pods on the sides. Those seem to work really well. I took the jets from the Me-709 (the smaller BFE engines) and made those fit into my design.
Ocean Man
In WoTB, I love using my Ferdinand on the Castilla map and submerging my tank, with only the barrel poking out of the water. It somehow survives this, and I can take our enemies like that.
This is an amazing build though! I can’t use it since it has the tracks mod, but it looks great!
@MrHoboDuck okay! So, for feedback:
.
- The wings are a bit too small for the plane. This can be deduced by it’s fairly high wing loading for such a small build, as well as it’s lack of maneuverability and tendency to “swing” when applying a pitch input. (For instance, my C-65 suffers from a similar issue due to its wing loading being around 95 lbs/ft^2, and therefore can pull crazy maneuvers, but struggles to keep itself up.)
- The power for the Wing area is too low. If you were to fix the wings, that would fix this issue. Otherwise, just do as is said in the Kerbal Engineering Doctrine: add more boosters (engines).
.
Other than that, seems like a pretty nice build. With time, you’ll learn to build like the platinum builders here (time not specified, as user experience depends on their learning experience).
@BlackhattAircraft Very good point.
@BlackhattAircraft I lost count at how many times I’ve seen the Blues.
@JolyLoly They have the Flugpanzerjäger.
@FranzPeterSiegfried
@JolyLoly
@Armyguy1534 Same. How was [ANGERY BOI] and [SCREECHER]?
And what did you think about the fight against [YOU CRAZY KIDS]? Lol
Do we comment here? I wanna put my naval expertise to the test.
T
@BlackhattAircraft true, but they’re certainly known and loved here in the states.
Wait... is this the fighter from Fortress?!
+1You could use my Odyssey. It’s pretty low part, so it should do fine.
tho it isn’t very realistic, so that’s a downside.
@MephilesTheDark Aye.
+1YE HAVE MADE A MISTAKE MORE THAN JUST GRAVE
+8@jaredgamer perfect!
As a student pilot who’s solo’d in a glider, this has me very intrigued.
@SakuraSaku Thanks!
@XxMegamonsterxX sounds good!
@XxMegamonsterxX sounds good! Try posting it as unlisted for testing, and tag me on it.
I’m so happy I said you made this War Thunder. Keep up the fantastic work!
@AZAMGAMING Nice. I haven’t played in a while though.

@XxMegamonsterxX you’re very welcome! I’ll take a look at this and see how it flies.

@Noname918181 Can’t do that, as that requires XML.
@Noname918181 oy blyat! Good idea!
@Natedog120705 Thanks!
Sadly, I don't have my phone rn, and I'm using my school chromebook that doesn't support games. I'll check this out in the morning!
@Noname918181 Ah, gotcha.
@L3dg3ndary you’re very welcome! Tag me on the finished product, or on a prototype if you need help testing it!
@L3dg3ndary Sounds freaking sweet!
@randomusername I eagerly await for that day.
+1I should also probably add you can tag me whenever you want help. My specialty is jets, specifically military jets.

@MrPorg137 You should check out all of the other aircraft on the history post. They’re all really well made.
Very nimble and sleek.
+1@Zanedavid no problem! Keep up the amazing work on builds!
It works now. Glad you got that fixed! Amazing build!
@L3dg3ndary hmmm... then just a cool paint job on the paneling is about all I can think of.
You might have to do a rework; only one of the wings moves. It looks great so far, though!
Much better than my first helicopter.
Have you started? If not, try to make the B Dasher from Mario Kart!
Oh, cool! They even painted the tails of the new planes red! Thanks for telling me!
@CruzerBlade that. Is. Genius.
+1@Chancey21 you definitely inspired me to do something similar (when I have much more time in the future)

Looks like an engineer made this.
+5I am very jealous.
@MrHoboDuck is that an okay for feedback or okay just to say you’ve read it? Lol
