[Part of FranzPeterSiegfried’s WWII Alternate History universe]

Surely, even the Germans will fear us now.

Boris Vladistovok, ace pilot in the Soviet Air Forces

My first plane with custom control surfaces. A heavy fighter/interceptor capable of high speed and high altitude flight, the Otboyniy Molot (Jackhammer) is a quick and speedy answer to the high-tech German Me-709, Fw-790, and Fw-764.

Takeoff Procedure:
1. Set Flaps to 50%
2. Throttle Up
3. Get off the Ground
4. Retract Landing Gear
5. Retract Flaps

Landing Procedure:
1. Let the Hand of Stalin Guide You
1a. Put Gear Down
2. Set Flaps 50%-100%
3. Keep pitch up
4. Keep speed 200-250mph
5. Land

Backstory:
In the early years of World War II, Germany had developed insane aircraft, capable of reaching never before seen speeds and ranges, while carrying new payloads to wreck the world into devastation. The Soviets, clearly worried by this, sent a team of engineers to watch the new German fighters and bombers in action, while trying to figure out how to outclass them. A few years later, a working prototype was produced, and sent to the front lines for combat testing. Designated the Yak-27 “Otboyniy Molot”, or “Jackhammer” in English (NATO reporting name Fecker), the plane became a mainstay in the Soviet Air Forces due to its speed and ability to perform multiple roles for the Air Force.

Armament:
2x Guardian SSAAMs (1946)
2x Interceptor LAAMs (1946)
4x Boom 25 UGBs

Grouping:
1 - Missile Arming
2 - Jet Boost Module
VTOL UP - Flaps

Notes of the Aircraft:
Quick, nimble, and armed to the teeth, the Jackhammer is not something you want to mess with. Able to zoom climb past 100,000 ft, and travel at 1,800 mph at 60,000 ft. It is also supermaneuverable, and capable of pulling a Cobra maneuver at lower speeds (making it one of the earliest planes to do so, had it ever been made).

@FranzPeterSiegfried Hey, Franz, are you also having issues with the propellers? I’m pulling High-G turns in this and they are wobbling. This didn’t happen before.
