@Chunkycheese it's not your or anyone else's fault, and I apologize if I came off as angry. I am not angry or even annoyed. I was simply musing about how I personally don’t understand roleplaying like this. That being said, however, it is obvious that others do understand them and enjoy them, and that’s great! It's good to see the community engaging and having fun in such a great game! Sandbox games like this truly are something else.
I frankly don’t understand how they're even supposed to work... it's all pretend so you can basically do whatever, right? Or are there some unwritten rules governing roleplaying wars that I’m not aware of? I've never been involved with any of that and I honestly have no interest in it, but apparently some find it fun. I doubt the server hamster appreciates the increased workload from all these forums though.
@Graingy yes, the first book (The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe) in particular being the most noticeable (or so I remember), with many elements directly corresponding to elements of Jesus's life (and death).
@Graingy indeed they are. They left great works of literature behind though, so I can still study them through their books. It's like looking at a mountain through a telescope, you only see a very small part of the big picture at a time, but by moving the telescope you can see that it's a mountain (although it will be a one-sided view)
@ComradeSandman I could not agree more. They are a futile (physically) mortal species constantly fighting with one another over fruitless and petty things. I should have clarified, however, because those are not the humans I was referring to. The humans I am referring to are the one in a million who are above these stupid and useless quarrels. I apologize because I have an essay to write at the moment so I can't elaborate too much, but there are some rare examples of humans who are genuinely intriguing to me (you may still disagree and that’s fine, but that is how I view the subject).
@Graingy oh, how lame (unless they happen to be one of the few humans that actually interests me [I don’t have time to define that term extensively right now, but an example would be Tolkien or C. S. Lewis]).
@ComradeSandman indeed. They have so many problems (all of which they bring upon themselves through one means or another). And yet there’s something… intriguing about them… they do suck, don’t get me wrong, but there’s something about them that’s different… I can’t explain it… maybe I’m insane.
@ComradeSandman I have had no experience or interaction with any Soian units, and therefore have no idea what they’re made of or look like. I have, however, come into contact with humans. They’re strange and I’ve always wondered what makes them tick, thus the desire to own a human mind. It’s simply my own personal desire
@Mrcooldude this is what you get when I pop into a forum post. I am good at off topic stupidity :) But I think it's about time for me to climb back into my hole (yes, I live in a hole, all my trees burned down) for a while and let the site start recovering.
I had another wack dream last night though. I was over by the ocean on a dock and then a cruise ship pulled up and docked and I was like "Oh yeah! A cruise ship!" And I was about to board it when a white mech-ish guy with a strange green head got in my way. He said something, and then threw some green glowy bomb-type thing onto the cruise ship, and I was like "Hey! You can't do that!" But then the mech guy pulled out a short, thick knife and was about to knife me when someone cut off his head (I don’t know who), so then I grabbed the green bomb and threw it into the ocean, it blew up, and I woke up. I honestly don’t know why I have these wack dreams...
@Graingy * spoken weakly with feeling * Look at what you've done to me... once I was a young ape whose academic potential was so promising some believed me to become the next Einstein... a young scholar whose philosophy and theology could have grown to rival that of even Socrates and Thomas Aquinas... a young conqueror whose unstoppable ambition was greater than Julius Caesar and Alexander the Great, being set on nothing less than the world and all who live in it... but you... you've reduced me to nothing... the one who was to become the greatest of all mortal beings was conquered by one phrase! ... one phrase... I am now less than nothing because of one phrase... I am less than nothing because of you...
@Graingy 🥲 screaming inside as unexplainable inner torment lays waste to my previously superior intellectual powers, turning me into a mindless psychopathic husk of an ape
@Boeing727200F again, sorry if it looked like I was angry or trying to stir up a debate, that was not my intention.

@Graingy yep.

@Graingy yes, he was. I am less familiar with him, but I plan to read his works again sometime in the future
*by one sided I mean 2D, as in you only see the face of the mountain, not what's inside or behind it

@Graingy what? (yes I’m still here... don’t comment on my procrastination)

+2Although I guess we were conversing in your post, so I suppose you have just enough right to see what’s going on as anybody else…
@ComradeSandman true, but I’d say humans are worth the risk.
@Subsere nothing that concerns you, unless you’re the suspicious thing that was watching me through my window.

It wasn’t truly an urge, I just wanted to get out of the theater and the most direct route was to climb over some people’s heads
@Graingy feminine urge?!? Not sure how I feel about that
@xXLouisPlayzXx thanks :)
+1I also get dreams about school assignments when the deadline for something starts getting close… those are easily the worst dreams ever…
