@Ancinder Download the server executable, and then run it. A window will pop up asking for network access. The server needs both Public and Private access, so be sure to check both. After that the server should work just fine.
To connect to your server, run the executable, and then find the area that says "Local IPs". The server IP that you're looking for should be the one that has "(LAN)" next to it. This is the IP for your local network. Note: I've only ever been able to use the LAN IP address. This is not the same for public servers, but I'm not sure how that's supposed to work, as I haven't been able to get it working so far. If the other user is not able to connect via your LAN, try having them connect to your global IP, which should be labeled by "UPnP Gateway:".
You can make good planes if you are determined to learn how to do so.
If you're passionate about building aircraft and you have the will to continuously improve your skills you can become a master content creator.
@Hiimakeplanes Ah. Yeah that's a problem.
In that case I would have found a way to make the LG retract into the side of the aircraft, but SP is lacking in those options for the default LG.
@Ghaves Sadly you can't.
There are some ways to get around this problem, but you can't change fuel consumption and noise values independently.
Of course, you can change power output. But like I said, fuel consumption can't be modified without changing noise.
A building tip: the main landing gear should be as close to the Center of Mass as possible.
It says on your newest post that it's difficult to takeoff. It's because the landing gear is way too far back.
That's just how the SP website can be sometimes.
This has happened to me several times. I wouldn't get too worried about it. Why these things happen has always been a mystery to me.
@Dathcha @32
All you need to do is type //, find whatever game object you wish to move in the command console, and then type >Transform., the select the type of transformation you need.
Objects can also be scaled, rotated, etc., depending on which object you are trying to modify.
@32 @Dathcha
To add on to temporaryplanetester's comment, you can use these commands to move entire islands (excluding any structures). For example: //JundrooAfbTerrain(Clone)>Transform.Translate X X X will move the entire island of Krakabloa.
@Bellcat How'd you know?
In all seriousness though, I found this to be hilarious and decided that this absolute masterpiece content should be shared with the world.
@temporaryplanetester No idea, but they don't seem to affect the function of the command other than just allowing it to work.
Perhaps if it's an item that can be duplicated.
Interestingly enough, it's entirely possible to move the atmosphere (shown by the black-sky picture).
The water and clouds can be moved as well. The water will revert to it's normal position if the player isn't paused.
@Hiimakeplanes Doesn't have to be. If you want to do that though, use ReShade (maybe Photoshop, but ReShade is better).
I would also find a spot where the aircraft doesn't blend into the background. Lighting is also really important. You don't want your aircraft in a shadow (changing the time of day is helpful).
@Hiimakeplanes Hmm, not sure how to help with that.
Eye-catching thumbnails may help. Take a look at some more popular post's thumbnails and learn from them. A good thumbnail can make or break a posts's success.
@Ancinder I was just experimenting with that, and encountered the same issue. I'm not sure how it works.

Type "T" for tag requests.
@MrCOPTY No. I don't use other forms of social media (except for YT, but that's just for the SP website).
@AlivePan It's about the size of a 727 except for the fact that the fuselage is too narrow.
@Sm10684 I believe it's a script by WNP78.
@CommanderSponge The server ping shot up. I joined, but left shortly after because of it.
@Brayden1981 I would just look it up on the internet, since this seems to be more of a browser problem than a website/game problem.
@Brayden1981 Hmm... Well, since I don't use Safari I wouldn't know what causes that or how to diagnose the issue.
Type "T" for tag requests.
@Brayden1981 You may modify it. Just be sure to give credit in the description.

@CommanderSponge None other than the one mentioned.
Sometimes the server reaches it's limit, which prevents anyone else from connecting.

@AlbertanPlaneMaker Ah.
@AlbertanPlaneMaker ?
@Lincoln82 Yep.

Pitch+Rollto complicated artificial stability expressions.@Lincoln82 FunkyTrees is the coding language used in SimplePlanes.

Apologies for the excessively dark screenshots. They're due to the underwater camera mod's built-in lighting setting.
@Fluttercat Yep. Likely a server overload. Give it a bit and it should go back to normal.

@Hainanairlinesball Ah. It seems to be working once again.
@Hainanairlinesball Same here. I think MP is out of public servers at the moment.

@DeadlyDialga I should've gotten some screenshots of that... didn't think about it at the time.

@temporaryplanetester I tried moving the DevConsole, but that didn't seem to do anything at all.
Interestingly enough, it's entirely possible to move the atmosphere (shown by the black-sky picture).

@DeadlyDialga The TutorialPlane was slightly different, but yes it basically did the same thing, just slightly less game-breaking.
