@dogooman1 Ailerons control Roll, Elevators control Pitch.
Flaps are their own type of control; they increase the aircraft's lift and decrease the aircraft's stall speed, as well as acting as airbrakes.
@Hiimakeplanes Builds like that tend to have many parts and/or complex systems. The amount of time it takes to design and code, coupled with being busy with school/work generally means that those projects will inevitably take a while to be completed.

It was mostly peaceful. The outliers would be the missile-armed 747 flying through the canyons and later launching a barrage of missiles in our direction.

@KyonIndustries The music source is probably a script instead of an actual file.
Even if you somehow located the script, attempting to replace it would be tricky, or perhaps just simply not possible without extensive programming knowledge.
That being said, it would be really neat to be able to customize the music of the game. But, I would imagine the reason there's no mod for it yet is simply because the music is an embedded script instead of an actual file. It would be very difficult to make a mod that could modify the music with the way the game works. Edit: there is, in fact, a mod for this. View PlaneFlightX's comment posted above for a link to the mod.
Hmm, I have also wondered this.
However, I have never actually found the audio script for the game, and I would imagine it's deeply embedded within the game's code.
@V I'm having a small issue with the maxVelocityAdjustmentRate attribute for the Cleaver missile.
Whenever I try to put it into the missile, it doesn't save into the XML file.
Is the formatting incorrect, or is there something I'm missing?
The ratio of rudder area to non-rudder area on vertical stabilizers definitely impacts the amount of yaw.
This is especially true with custom wings/stabilizers that use wing sections as control surfaces.
It's simply a matter of aerodynamics. Not every aircraft will be affected by rudder input in the same way.
For example: I have an aircraft that can easily do a flat turn using the rudder, while some of my other airplanes are barely affected by rudder input.
@JesusChrist The best solution I could come up with was to make twin vertical stabilizers instead of a single stabilizer centered in the middle of the aircraft.
@JesusChrist I find it strange that it only seems to affect the stabilizer tip and hinge rotator for the rudder, but not any other part.
Perhaps it's size related.
@JesusChrist Well, flipping the part does not work.
This is strange, since I have never had this issue before (that I can remember) despite using the same building method.
@dogooman1 More lift will help you get off of the water easier.

In my experience, flaps tend to be really helpful in this scenario.
The server

seems to be down.@Hiimakeplanes Regarding building tips, perhaps you should experiment with custom wings. They tend to look fairly decent on certain builds.

@Hiimakeplanes That being said, custom screenshots do tend to attract better publicity.
@Hiimakeplanes You will need to naturally improve your skills. Give it time, and the better your builds become, the more attention they will get.
Ah yes, I remember this one. Very nice.

@TheGliderGuy Thanks!
Just another day of SPMP.
@DISHWASHER2005 This will be interesting...
@Bo1233 Will do!
+1@IceCraftGaming Boeing 747. Probably of the -400 variant. Fitted with dozens of cleaver missiles in an internal weapons bay.
+1@MrSilverWolf Thanks!

That can be easily fixed by simply going to the main menu screen, opening the settings menu, and pressing the
Restore Stock Craft
button.@OrdinaryTankBuilder Well, not exactly.
+1The specifications in the description are for the sailplane itself, not including the launcher system.
@MAPA Thanks! It's definitely my best sailplane to date.

I personally don't have much experience in paneling.
+1I would ask Otana, since they seem to be quite good with paneling.
Very nice!
I'm also currently working on a sailplane. It should be ready by tomorrow.
@DeadlyDialga Yeah, that's how it was when I first started on the website.
+1Perhaps I should make a "guide for website beginners" forum.

@PlaneFlightX Oh wow.
That's very interesting.
My mistake.

+1Nice aircraft.

Glad I could help!
+1@ReinMcDeer Ah, interesting.
+1I just simply added two vertical stabilizers and eliminated the one in the middle.
That fixed the issue.

That being said, SimplePlanes still probably won't simulate rudder/yaw input as realistically as it could be.

@JesusChrist I did, in fact, reconnect the part (more than once).
I submitted a bug report, so perhaps I'll get an answer to the issue.
@JesusChrist I also just found out that the hinge rotator for the rudder has the same issue.

@JesusChrist It does use a

rise.I might try rotating the part so that it uses
run
instead ofrise
.
