A minor but exceedingly annoying thing:
I've been working on this aircraft, and the rudder uses a hinge rotator for movement. Whenever I mirror Left-To-Right, the hinge rotator disappears and has to be replaced, re-rotated, re-positioned, and re-configured for the rudder control. Mirroring in the opposite direction creates a clone of the same part in the same position.
I've checked the X-Position using both the nudge tool and Fine Tuner, and it's indicated to be precisely centered (though it sometimes appears as -0 but changing it to 0 doesn't fix the issue).
This issue isn't exclusive to this aircraft and has happened on several other aircraft previously.
I can provide a link if necessary, but I would prefer that the aircraft remain out of public access for now since it is nearly complete.
You've likely got moving parts that are colliding. In that case, just disable aircraft collisions on those parts.
The basic cockpit isn't supposed to be destroyed, otherwise the game would cease to function.
@GabrielSatori That's a problem I attempted to fix (and mostly did) while I was designing the landing gear.
Landing should go decently as long as the aircraft is landing at the correct speed (listed above) and the correct rate of descent, and the user isn't trying a Ryanair landing.
Though, you can almost always expect a small bounce upon landing. This is something I hope to learn how to solve in the future (likely with actual suspension).
@Brayden1981 I do my projects for enjoyment (sometimes for testing things). Handing them off to someone defeats the purpose of them in the first place.
I'm going to give you the same advice that other users give: just build it yourself. If you don't know how, then learn how. That's how I've gotten to the point where I am now: learning by experience.
I can help you with FT and other small building aspects should you choose to build one, but I will not build one for you.
@Brayden1981 Sorry, but a 7J7 (or any replica for that matter) just isn't something that I would be willing to do. Not only that, but I have a projects list that spans 1-2 months of work, or even more. I'm not going to delay my own projects by several weeks for a project that I'm not even willing to do.
If it matters, the aircraft I am working on is similar to a 7J7, but again it isn't a replica.
@Brayden1981 I don't really do build requests, nor do I make replicas.
The aircraft designation is currently I200. When the aircraft is flyable I can tag you on an unlisted post.
@Brayden1981 It's not a 7J7, rather it's a fictional passenger transport concept.
I may or may not publish the engine, but if I do I will be sure to tag you on it.
@Mantha Thanks! The aircraft can experience a slight/moderate stall if a hard turn is conducted when the speed is too low (or when the turn is executed very quickly).
I would recommend joystick/mouse control because movement is generally much smoother, and lowers the risk of over-maneuvering.
Hello there. Just figured I should let you know that this post is against the rules, as it does not offer any improvements over the original build.
Reposting someone else's build without any changes may result in your post being removed.
@F8boa Theoretically yes. With the right speed, timing, and altitude it's likely possible. Removing the vertical stabilizer might help if you intend to yaw the aircraft backwards.
You might need to replace the Throttle value on the second expression depending on your needs. For the first expression, the rotator range must be set to 100 degrees.
Jundroo did not remove support for mobile mod support, Google/Apple did.
Jundroo can not do anything about this.
Even if mod support for mobile was given, I'm fairly certain that Unity currently does not support mobile platforms.
If I understand this correctly, doing that is against the rules.
You have to make some sort of significant modification to a build before publishing a successor version.
Ignoring this rule will result in your post(s) getting taken down, or potentially receiving a strike/ban on your account.
You can't. Only the moderators have that capability.

I believe is what works.@maxres It's likely an issue with high server ping. Wait a while and you should be able to connect.

@plutoshouldbeaplanet And no, it isn't based on the Strike Wyvern.
@plutoshouldbeaplanet This is vastly different from a Strike Wyvern in most design aspects. Especially performance-wise.

@Belloaka No problem! The server is generally more populated at night (or morning, depending on your time zone).
+1@Brayden1981 On the aircraft that this will be used on?
@Belloaka As of right now there's only one public server that is functional:
+1160.251.58.131
.The information you need should be in the propeller data.
Here's the XML Properties List: LINK
Sailplane perhaps?
Nice. You should be able to upload images now.

@Red920 In that case, disable collisions of the parts that the probe gets stuck inside of.
+1Hmm... Alright then.
HUZZAH!
+1Either the probe or drogue likely has aircraft collisions disabled.
+1Checking to make sure collisions on both parts are enabled should fix the issue.
Ah, I remember this one.
+2Nice job.
@Soardivision160th No problem! Glad I could help!
@ssenmodnar No problem! I'm glad I could help!
Here's a nice way for importing images: https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/1534176/IA-Image-Importer.
+1Hopefully this helps.
So I did a bit of testing, and here's what seems to work:
You might need to replace the
Throttle
value on the second expression depending on your needs. For the first expression, the rotator range must be set to 100 degrees.
Big-Eared Billy.
Congrats!
When Jundroo can find the time to do so.
They're a bit busy with SR2 at the moment.
@ssenmodnar I can try, but I won't have access to SP for several hours (hence why I was unable to test the previous expressions).
Putting
Throttle=1
on an afterburner engine should work.A Wasp with TVC/Artificial Stability would be neat.
+1Also yes, there is a forum saying that mods are coming to mobile, but one of the game developers already debunked that claim.
