@MrCOPTY Hmm... It would be useful for splitting wings into sections automatically instead of manual wing calculation.
It would also be nice for landing gear/weapon bays, especially on aircraft that use paneling.

@ShinyGemsBro postimages.org
It hasn't had issues up to this point, and I believe temporaryplanetester was able to see them.
It might be a server error with postimages.org, as those have happened before.
@Hiimakeplanes Ah. Yeah that's a problem.
In that case I would have found a way to make the LG retract into the side of the aircraft, but SP is lacking in those options for the default LG.
@Ghaves Sadly you can't.
There are some ways to get around this problem, but you can't change fuel consumption and noise values independently.
Of course, you can change power output. But like I said, fuel consumption can't be modified without changing noise.
A building tip: the main landing gear should be as close to the Center of Mass as possible.
It says on your newest post that it's difficult to takeoff. It's because the landing gear is way too far back.
That's just how the SP website can be sometimes.
This has happened to me several times. I wouldn't get too worried about it. Why these things happen has always been a mystery to me.
@Dathcha @32
All you need to do is type //, find whatever game object you wish to move in the command console, and then type >Transform., the select the type of transformation you need.
Objects can also be scaled, rotated, etc., depending on which object you are trying to modify.
@32 @Dathcha
To add on to temporaryplanetester's comment, you can use these commands to move entire islands (excluding any structures). For example: //JundrooAfbTerrain(Clone)>Transform.Translate X X X will move the entire island of Krakabloa.
@Bellcat How'd you know?
In all seriousness though, I found this to be hilarious and decided that this absolute masterpiece content should be shared with the world.
@temporaryplanetester No idea, but they don't seem to affect the function of the command other than just allowing it to work.
Perhaps if it's an item that can be duplicated.
Interestingly enough, it's entirely possible to move the atmosphere (shown by the black-sky picture).
The water and clouds can be moved as well. The water will revert to it's normal position if the player isn't paused.
@XtarsAgency Given that the clouds are a fixed 2D texture, the only way to make them disappear without changing the weather is to cause an error so large that it stops cloud rendering (which I am pretty sure I've done). Edit: the clouds can also be moved out of render distance via the command console.
@Hiimakeplanes Doesn't have to be. If you want to do that though, use ReShade (maybe Photoshop, but ReShade is better).
I would also find a spot where the aircraft doesn't blend into the background. Lighting is also really important. You don't want your aircraft in a shadow (changing the time of day is helpful).
@Hiimakeplanes Hmm, not sure how to help with that.
Eye-catching thumbnails may help. Take a look at some more popular post's thumbnails and learn from them. A good thumbnail can make or break a posts's success.
Well for one thing: flying wings by definition do not have dedicated vertical stabilizers (there are some exceptions to this, such as the YB-49), so I would get rid of those.
As far as stability goes, there are two primary options:
Hidden vertical fins inside of the aircraft (not as realistic, but it still works). Considered to be somewhat of a cheat method depending on who you ask.
Hidden airbrakes in the wingtips with auto-stabilizing inputs. Better for simulating flying wing stability (in my opinion), since it relies on adverse drag much like real flying wings do.

Apologies for the excessively dark screenshots. They're due to the underwater camera mod's built-in lighting setting.
@jamesPLANESii Ahh.
+1Yeah, that's just the lighting of the underwater camera mod. It's rather annoying.

+1@temporaryplanetester Absolutely. It could use an update as well.
+2@ReturnOfJeffChandler Redirect the power supply, plug-in a small cooktop, and you'll have the basis for cooking an exquisite grilled-cheese sandwich!
+1@Fluttercat Yep. Likely a server overload. Give it a bit and it should go back to normal.

@Hainanairlinesball Same here. I think MP is out of public servers at the moment.

@DeadlyDialga The TutorialPlane was slightly different, but yes it basically did the same thing, just slightly less game-breaking.
Type "T" for tag requests.

Well, posting teasers ahead of time helps grab attention. That may help.
Other than that I'm not sure.
Look closely at the fourth picture and you'll notice that the airport is not only floating but has also moved several hundred feet.
@airlinerbuilder No problem! I've used this:
You may have to adjust some of the values depending on how the aircraft performs, since this was used in a sailplane and not a high-speed aircraft.
