    Yep :-) :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • Boeing Won The T-X Competition! 6.5 years ago

I was wondering way the T-100 looked so familiar to me, it makes sense now, now that you mention it it does look like the Yak-130. @EternalDarkness

  • Boeing Won The T-X Competition! 6.5 years ago

I think that is one of the reasons the Air Force picked the T-X, the design was a new design (unlike Lockheed Martin and Leonardo who based/modified their designs off of already existing aircraft) @Tully2001

  • Boeing Won The T-X Competition! 6.5 years ago

I know right, I am so happy that Boeing won the competition :-) :-) @Chancey21

  • ATA-300 6.5 years ago

Thank you, I will be releasing a build pretty soon that will have a few real missiles like the AIM-120D AMRAAM, AIM-9X sidewinder, JAGM air-to-ground missile and a few others if you are interested. I am glad you like this missile :-) :-) @Quip

  • Please help (again) 6.5 years ago

    Your welcome :-) :-)

  • Please help (again) 6.5 years ago

The internal bays work and the intakes can provide enough air now. No need to give me credit, I will let you do the finishing touches :-)

    ooh Ahh!

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

That is fine with me if you would like to continue in the build (if you want Rainier to help you build it, that is also ok). You don't have to get my permission to upgrade or modify my jets/planes (in fact if you have a idea for modifying a plane of mine please do) all I ask is that you link the plane to me so that I can see all the cool stuff you did.
I hope you do still continue to work on the Thorny Devil and enter it into the challenge, I wish you good luck, Godspeed, and hope you win.
I still want to, and hope to make a co-build with you sometime in the near future. @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

Ok I am super busy this week/month, and I guess I bit off more then I could chew, so I am sorry but I will not be able to finish or continue in this build :-(
But thank you for helping with what you have helped with :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

    Ok :-) :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

Then do you only need the plane with its fuselage, and you will make the wings?
And the iPad does not mod, it juet can handle mods, but if there is a modded peace in SP it can make something out of it from there :-) :-)
I am making a more simple version of the F-36B with internal bays instead of starting from scratch. @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

Oh also my iPad is able to use mods, so don't worry about that :-) :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

That cockpit looks beautiful, that will be an awesome addition to the F-36B. And I am sorry but I can not scale it down to a reasonable size, but I will finish the main body and wings and send you a link.
You said you wanted to give the F-36 "detailed wing flight controls" what is that exactly? Could you send me a drawing or link me to a plane that demonstrates/has that?

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

You can also start making that camouflage you where talking about, and it also needs the landing gear, and its landing gear door/doors too.
I know the start is huge, bet it can be scaled right? @JohnnyBoythePilot @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

Hay here is your start for the cockpit. Oh if you could look up some 5th/6th gen fighter and strike aircraft and copy/mix up ideas from the pictures you can find on the internet, some examples of 5th gen aircraft would be the F-22, F-35, J-20, J-31, and SU-57 :-) :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

I am making the front part of the plane right now so that you can start on the cockpit, oh when you make the cockpit (the more simple it is the more realistic it will be), for most of your modern day fighter/strike aircraft are all tuch screens, face ID, voice controlled extra. :-) :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

The camp sounds awesome, and I would want it to be a land based fighter, internal bays would be awesome, and I don't know if you read the rules but actually the Thorny Devil is too maneuverable, and the rules also say it needs to have a max speed of ruffly 2500 mph so interesting the thrust is needed :-)
I think it would be fine to add on to this build but maybe latter (if you want to) I would like to make a new Thorny Devil from scratch. Oh one last thing, there is a limit of three entries in the challenge so we can make both your design and mine (if you would like that. @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

I really like that design you have there, there is a plane I made that has some similarities to your design (both have the same type of tail layout like the YF-23, which I love that design) I call it the "Cobra" or you also may know it as the "White Ghost" @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

Hay I read in your post that you are a Christian, I am also a Christian, (I guess we have something else in common) :-) :-)

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

In my original drawings I had my F-36 labeled as the F-36A Thorny Devil, But I named it the Thorny Devil after the Thorny Devil which is a desert lizard (and you can read all about it if you would like).

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

I am also enrolled on a online school too, but I don't play SP on my computer, I play on my iPad (which can't do moding, so if you have a good gaming computer I will need you to do the moding, if that is ok with you). I am on (EST) so we will be be building at different times but I think it will be ok. @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

So now I think we have talked everything through, now let's get started on the build. Is there a specific time you tipicly go onto SP, if so what time (and what time zone) the reason I ask you that question is so that I can know when to message you about the build, and discuss our progress.

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

So I was looking at the rules on the challenge, it doesn't necessarily need to be stealthy (although I want to make it somewhat stealth) and there is no real rules on what the 6th gen fighter has to be to be a 6th gem fighter (both in real life and in the challenge). So I think the Thorny Devil will be fine to enter. @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • Ferrari F40 GT4 6.6 years ago

Oh, I only ask that question because the F430 is my favorite model :-) :-) @DemonSniper8

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

I made up a new category to put my Thorny Devil in, it will go into the Air superiority Strike fighter category :-) :-)

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

I think since a F-22 is my favorite fighter jet and it is an air superiority fighter, I think a air superiority fighter would be cool. But (I've always wondered) what's the difference between a air superiority fighter and a strike fighter? And does the Thorny Devil look like a air superiority fighter or a strike fighter? I think it looks more like a strike fighter to me but it looks like a cross between a F-22 and a F-35. @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • Ferrari F40 GT4 6.6 years ago

Awesome! Could you make a Ferrari F430, too?

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

That's ok, I am sorry but I do not have Discord :-( @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

I have some ideas but you may have some too. I read in you bio that you braw planes, I do too, if you would want to draw some ideas of yours and send a few pictures of them to me in you comment, that would be nice :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • F-36A Thorny Devil Ready For Battle 6.6 years ago

Hay this has nothing to do with this plane, but I was wondering if you would want to co-make a 6th generation fighter jet for this challenge? @JohnnyBoythePilot

  • Drone Challenge 2 6.6 years ago

No problem, I was just wondering :-) @mikoyanster

  • Nordan NA-3R Twilight Lark 6.6 years ago

Nice, flys pretty good too, but I have to ask, why did you pick that color?

  • Nordan NA-4 Storm Petrel 6.6 years ago

    Interesting design, flys nice.

  • Rainier QFX-65 Redback UCAV | Drone 2 Challenge 6.6 years ago

Hay I think I made the nose heavyness you where talking about, at least less then what it was before.

  • Drone Challenge 2 6.6 years ago

Are you still taking in planes for the contest?

  • Rainier QFX-65 Redback UCAV | Drone 2 Challenge 6.6 years ago

The story is awesome! Pretty nice.

  • Super Circinae 7/B 6.6 years ago

Looks nice, also looks like a cross between a Earofighter Typhoon, F-16, and a JAS-39 Gripen :-) :-)

  • YF-36 Thorny Devil 6.6 years ago

    Thank you sir :-) :-)
