@Quintasoarus I nearly made the quarterfinals and beat @Typhlosion130 because my plane took off the line so fast butnthen the other plane would catch up and slam in to me. So yea, crashing at the start can make you lose.

@Typhlosion130 given the crashes you may have had a chance. I fully expected to lose our round, I couldn't believe the crash happened once, then a second time? And then it happened again when I went against Butterfly and almost a second time. That's my new strategy, fast take off and make the other guy crash into me.
@Typhlosion130 now you see why I felt bad I beat you that way, if not for my fast take off speed you might have won the whole thing. Hell, the same thing happened once when I went up against Butterfly!
There will be a total about 260 matchups with at least two races per matchup which comes to about 17 hours at 2 minutes per race. But, it won't take 2 minutes per race, lots of people will crash 30-45 seconds in and also the race ends when one person completes the course so all the planes in sub 2:00 range will speed things up.
Everyone, it's just a game, and this is a minor event within a game. It's not ideal for us mobile players but if you don't like it then just don't enter. Stop the grandstanding, you aren't being persecuted here, life will go on.
Dogfighting tournaments will never work, have you ver set two planes to AI and watched them dogfight? The two planes fly straight at each other, fire missiles as soon as possible, first plane down loses, fin.
@AndrewGarrison ok, so I got the email from iTunes saying 1.3.5 was ready to test but when I open test flight there isn't anything there. There was no activation code or anything in the email.
They'll probably start at 9:00(est) this better than the old system where you could enter a plane to the last minute, I'm sure that caused headaches.
It may not start tonight, they may run the tournament tomorrow.

The AI is just not good enough for dogfights.
