@Squirrel I just encountered this same issue. what you want to do is make sure you are on the most current version, then go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo and rename the SimplePlanes folder to SimplePlanes.Backup.
@ThunderscreechEngineering To answer your question, it's the same reason why Building models out of legos, or the such, is common amongst people who suffer from depression, and other mental disabilities. It provides an outlet. I myself have ADHD, and am unmedicated, because the med school are a former of speed.

OK so this might have something to do with the issue. right after 1.4.0.7, I was messing with scaled weapons. I tried scaling down a boom25 by adding script to it's XML file that wasn't there dispite the update. after reopenning the game, and clicking the build button, it froze. the edditor buttons came up, but the background stayed the same.
I really am pleased with this update. My only wishes are that we can bind hinges and rotators to the retract button, and paint blocks translucent. @BoxGlow I don't know if that can be done without Extensive divelopment. I mean, first we'd need a city or town for the cars, and more docs for ships. also, the AI would need to be on par with AI from games like Grand Theft Auto. @AndrewGarrison

Save the plane, then reload it.
Added dialog for spawning or despawning planes. What does that mean?
