    Thank you @Authros

  • Cessna 310 10.2 years ago

Brilliant interior detail, well-done 310 model!

  • SR71 UFO Seen @ 100,000 feet 10.2 years ago

About the scale of this much older version -www.simpleplanes.com/a/J95P48/Lockheed-A-12-Stealth-Plane@LordofLego

  • SR71 UFO Seen @ 100,000 feet 10.2 years ago

Pretty much everything, but it's unfinished (larger model) WIP. @LordofLego

  • SR71 UFO Seen @ 100,000 feet 10.2 years ago

OK, but I'm going to rebuild this entire plane from scratch anyway, and it will not look like this one. @LordofLego

  • SR71 UFO Seen @ 100,000 feet 10.2 years ago

Thanks @LordofLego You're partly right, but this very simple& sturdy artistic rendering (not a true replica) needed ballast where I put the VTOL.

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

    Thanks @LordofLego

  • Vaught F-8 Crusader 10.2 years ago

Thanks @LordofLego No, cause SP has dozens of good ones already. Maybe someday.

  • Vaught F-8 Crusader 10.2 years ago

    Thanks @nickasaurusrex

  • Vaught F-8 Crusader 10.2 years ago

Thanks @planelover400 Soon, got many things to complete.

  • CAV-5 Gannet (Modernised) 10.2 years ago

    Better than most by far!

  • CAV-5 Gannet (Modernised) 10.2 years ago

Takeoff OK, lift OK, but needs strong Roll (RCS) control.

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

    Done @Rohan

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

@Rohan Unlikely. Such aircraft would never leave the runways they require if IDF or US forces did not want them to.

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

@Ctracerx2 -- Check this out, it has the cockpit+300 lbs on top!

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

Thanks @Kevpilot -- Try this, modify the detacher to release to at the same (I did), usually the missiles collide in a fireworks show.

  • AGM-65 Maverick Demonstration 10.2 years ago

@Kevpilot Agree re: rockets! The Stock SP non-VTOL engines Thrust immediately with power-on. I use a few, occasional mod engine on missiles -- they take about 5 seconds to power-on, they take over one minute to reach full power. (You can land your plane and not see where the missiles really went.) I don post planes+missiles unless the SP user can see what he shot at. Boats, same.

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

    Hear ya... @nickasaurusrex

  • Modern Iranian SU-24 MK 10.2 years ago

Thanks @nickasaurusrex But, I wonder if these could ever carry nukes like the Russian versions do? Dunno, scary.....

  • LAND SPEED RECORD CHALLENGE 10.2 years ago

    For visibility.

  • LAND SPEED RECORD CHALLENGE 10.2 years ago

Keeping hi-thrust items from going vertical is a quirk of SP Sim. I never though about staying on the ground too long (I've built SP naval Destroyers & AC Carriers that head up into the sun.....). I'll do some testing, and think about this -- good idea for the community!

  • AGM-65 Maverick Demonstration 10.2 years ago

And they work on this model plane! These not work on most of my plane models, that is: the "drop & fire" assumes actual rocket propulsion. This SP sim only has Jet Engines/VTOLs and the Sim World requires several seconds of power-on warm-up before I can release most of my missiles. Keep on testing.... @Kevpilot

  • AGM-65 Maverick Demonstration 10.2 years ago

Yeah, that simple plane model has been around for a while, but those VTOL missiles are Fast, first-rate!

  • "Splash Two" Libyan SU-22s 10.2 years ago

@nickasaurusrex No, I tried and don't like the detached-spring missiles, so maybe checkout WalrusAircraft and PlanesOfOld tools, they have posted them.

  • "Splash Two" Libyan SU-22s 10.2 years ago

    Thanks @SirGorbachev

  • "Splash Two" Libyan SU-22s 10.2 years ago

FYI: these missiles are built just for this model, and so far, they're about the fastest that fly straight that I've built so far. Someday soon, guess I'll post a toolbox with all my weapons which are really not used elsewhere on SP. @nickasaurusrex

    Thanks @LordofLego

  • "Splash Two" Libyan SU-22s 10.2 years ago

Thanks @planelover400 Now, that's an idea: the F-105! The B-29 will take a while longer, since the large fuselage will serve for a new B-52. WIP.

  • "Splash Two" Libyan SU-22s 10.2 years ago

    Thanks @nickasaurusrex

  • Vaught A-7 Corsair II 10.2 years ago

Thanks @nickasaurusrex Dunno why folks don't test this plane; it does quite well in SP sim -- very similar to the actual plane.

  • Vaught A-7 Corsair II 10.2 years ago

Thx, got lazy I guess.... @Rohan

  • Vaught A-7 Corsair II 10.2 years ago

Note: DET= 1 and DET=2 releases free fall bombs.

  • MIG-15 10.2 years ago

Thx @WaterAirLand The front engine was tricky; it is linked to the body with compound spines, a build process I'm just learning.

  • German Twin Prop Fighter 10.2 years ago

    Thanks, I await! @WalrusAircraft

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 10.2 years ago

Excellent work here. Forgot about this one. So, built my own version instead (NO modded engines) --www.simpleplanes.com/a/3Th52u/MIG-15

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 10.2 years ago

    Good replicate, flys OK!

  • German Twin Prop Fighter 10.2 years ago

Agree I have both Beta OSX and 1.1.1 Version on OSX both download others models, but OSX Beta provides no controls for flight, so I use the regular release until Jundroo fixes that. @WalrusAircraft

  • Convair XF-92 10.2 years ago

    Thank you @WalrusAircraft

  • German Twin Prop Fighter 10.2 years ago

Love these new ones, yes! @WalrusAircraft

  • German Twin Prop Fighter 10.2 years ago

The Germans (WWII) though had researched the use of delta wings on aircraft: German scientist, Alexander M. Lippisch. Convair finally built the first working jet delta wing, see my Convair XF-92 at www.simpleplanes.com/a/EC7Ot1/Convair-XF-92

  • German Twin Prop Fighter 10.2 years ago

    Cool concept, nice propeller execution!

  • MIG-15 10.2 years ago

Appreciate your evaluation, and thanks @PlanesOfOld
