@Farscyt Just based on experience, (the canards are not going to work, delete them) -- add horizontal tails below rear thrusters.

  • Firefly Class MK2 10.0 years ago

Guess I'll need to create a new Battlestar Gallatica, for a comparison. Maybe.

  • Firefly Class MK2 10.0 years ago

Impressive WIP. I could add roll/ pitch but this is your baby!

  • SAAB 35 Draken 10.0 years ago

Most accurate 35 Draken on speed -- thumbs up!

  • General Purpose Bomb (update) 10.0 years ago

When you post something that will take out the center support pylons on the main bridge, I'll use it. Unless I post it first.

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 10.0 years ago

Great one! With the new stock parts, my own Mig-21 model upgrades would probably look like this. Good job!

  • Narada (Star Trek) 10.0 years ago

@Minecrafta15 OK, deal. Look for my posted Mobile Friendly Armed Narada for starts.

  • Sea Torpedo Frigate Bandit 10.0 years ago

    Thanks @Delphinus

  • Newest Project 10.0 years ago

Gorgeous! I've done several crude variations of the Firefly chassis, and the killer is getting this two VTOL rotating side nozzles attached. Something to think about, I like this first start.

  • Sea Torpedo Frigate Bandit 10.0 years ago

These torpedoes can be fired from aircraft also. They drop to the sea and wreak devastavion!

  • Sea Torpedo Frigate Bandit 10.0 years ago

They are amazing, I got lucky. Not "pretty" but they would remove the bow from the USS Tiny. That's why you might want to save this..... I don't post my weapons, since no one has asked for my full set. @AlphaOneIndustries

  • Sea Torpedo Frigate Bandit 10.0 years ago

Thanks for rating @AlphaOneIndustries Thx but this is one I built, it's fairly lightweight. I could drop it for the final Bandit approach into the sea, it survives. The torpedoes are custom-made and devastated the USS Tiny when needed.

  • Mach 3.5 Lockheed A-12 (New SP Parts) 10.0 years ago

Thanks! @TheLatentImage Had to try out some new parts. (Now takeoffs are a breeze!)

  • ZedAir Improved Raptor Jet 10.0 years ago

    Neat ejector!

  • Mach 3 Lockheed YF-104 Aircraft 10.0 years ago

Thanks @Mrwhiskers85 I remember reading that, yes, but got only jet engines on SP to reach those altitudes.

  • Lockheed Challenge Mach 3.5 A-12 10.0 years ago

    Thank you @Delphinus

  • Lockheed Challenge Mach 3.5 A-12 10.0 years ago

Thanky you @nickasaurusrex Note, FYI the A-12 platform is different from the SR-71, shorter nose + more lift + more acceleration.

  • Lockheed Challenge Mach 3.5 A-12 10.0 years ago

@Exumer Please see my updated pitch control description. Note, I've found hundreds of "SR-71s" on SP, none that fly level 3,300 mph.

  • Lockheed Challenge Mach 3.5 A-12 10.0 years ago

@Exumer OK with medium pitch input I can easily flip this model, also. Requires minimal, light, touches to pitch. Roll should be normal. Speed, level is about 3,000 mph. This is a test of the new SP release, and this is.the fastest (not the most stable at takeoff, though) Lockheed model I could do on short notice.

  • Lockheed Challenge Mach 3.5 A-12 10.0 years ago

    Thx for rating @Exumer

  • Panavia Tornado 10.0 years ago

    Great job on the Tornado!

  • Spaceship Raza (New) 10.0 years ago

    Thanks @nickasaurusrex

  • Spaceship Raza (New) 10.0 years ago

BTW the Mothership was 1,500+ parts!

  • Spaceship Raza (New) 10.0 years ago

@Delphinus Running on a 3rd generation quad-core Fire HD tablet. I built the Independence Day Mothership, posted from this device. The SP sw has changed something -- they don't know yet how Android mobiles or iOS mobiles will react. I expect upgrades/fixes in the works.

  • Spaceship Raza (New) 10.0 years ago

@Delphinus True! Works easy on iOS (my iPhone and iPad Air tablet). But crashes on my Android tablet. AndrewGarrison is receiving my comments and many other comments on this issue.

  • Spaceship Raza (New) 10.0 years ago

Appreciate you testing, and compliment! @Delphinus

  • Race Plane 10.0 years ago

BTW this model must set: VTOL between top bar & the one below it. This model must launch at 40% or less power for stable flight. Do that, it gives a good ride!

  • Race Plane 10.0 years ago

That's OK, glad you could use it. The wing design is based on Learjet, with rounded edges, and it's tricky to do this & get a prop plane to behave. @DefendMyCereal

  • Bandit 10.0 years ago

    Thanks @nicasausursrex

  • Bandit 10.0 years ago

Thx @Killzone3265 -- You have my permission to simply copy this, and build a better one. I used carefully placed modded parts here: the key is use "unbreakable" wings on swing mounts.

  • Bandit 10.0 years ago

Thx, this is an unusually hi-performance SP model. Glad you like it. @CraftmasterPilot

  • Bell X1 10.0 years ago

    Classic. Well done!

  • Spruce Goose 10.0 years ago

Beautiful, accurate replication (I've seen the real one in it's California museum). Perfect water touchdown & takeoffs!
